Can i join please?

I have made my own sealed pot out of an old Golden syrup tin....Green by name Green by nature!!!

No target set but will be saving copper coins only in this one.

Just found the new thread and there are already 252 posts. That confirms my suspicions - I'll have absolutely no way of keeping up with this thread, so please don't think I have forgotten about it, I am lurking on the sidelines and feeding the recuperating 'Phil the Pig'. He's only had 35p this week, after I only spent £14.65 of £15 worth of High Street vouchers and got the change in cash

Woo Hoo, thanks for my number Sue...fed my tin my bits of change and managed to get hubbie to donate some too! I've decided to save up for some tattoos.

Please keep motivated...last year when I started the challenge I was so excited, then after a few weeks into January I thought - this will take AGES!! I can be quite impatient so this was tricky for me. Anyhow....once summer came I was amazed at the weight of the pot and how fast time had passed. The second half of the year has flown by and I can't believe it was a year ago we all started. Sooooo....keep putting those coins in and it's brilliant to open your pot up and see it all there.

Got some more change today from tesco's including a couple of £2 coins so they will be going into the tin including the other few pence.

Have just chucked a load more change into my tin. I've hidden my tin out of sight so i can only see the top of it. Last time i tried to do this i kept picking it up to see how heavy it was then curiosity got the better of me n i opened it:o. I wont be opening it this time tho!
