Oh dear - it's getting to me! :D The other night (or maybe last night, I can't remember) I had a dream that I found loads of money on the side of the road - loads of £1s, 50ps, etc, crazy!

my dd told me today that she had a dream that her and her friend spent all day running around picking up loads of roadkill cause it was everywhere!
would love it to have been real my total so far this year in roadkill is 3p!

  • :hello: Hello JimLad,
Sorry to hear about your girlfriend *hugs*
this challenge is very addictive and if you're like me, someone who goes round with eyes glued to the floor bumping in to old me also goggling at the floor, then you will know its addictiveness and the power it gives to keep you focussed:D (wow that made me sound smart:rotfl: )

I did my bit as a 'good samaritan/good citizen' today, some man was withdrawing money from tescos express cash machine and i knew without looking before he walked away that he hadn't got all his cash so i double checked and shouted at him(not OI!!! at the top of my lungs;) , but Excuse me in a loud voice) and i told him that there was still a couple of notes hanging out the deposit machine, he went back and got his remaining notes and said thanks(so can't complain). :o
That doesn't sound as good like that but i did have my two dogs in tow and it was on a busy high street so i feel quite proud:rotfl: lol.
A nice couple of 20ps for me, not to be sniffed at :D
    Happy Roadkill Hunting :rotfl:
    ..xx
I am only me, no pretences, no second guesses.. It's the best I can do, I'm sorry if that's not good enough for you... I'm sorry I'm not good enough for you :A

welcome to the thread Jim, sorry to hear about you splitting with your girl. Keep your chin up, we're a friendly bunch and it's great to have another guy on here to help back me and Sparky up when the girls get a bit fiesty!!! lol.

And trust me, this place will help take your mind off things. I was single before starting the frst Sealed Pot and some nice ladies on here helped me with dating advice, and now (thanks to advice from Sparky) I'm an engaged chap! lol. Jeepers!

Evening all by the way. A small amount in the jar for me today, but Mrs S-to-be put plenty of roadkill in. Fanatstic!

Well done Jordan on your honesty.

Is it cheating if i add in the coins i have had in a big bottle since like 2005?

There's no such thing as cheating on this challenge. anything goes...:p:p:p

Sorry to hear about the girlfriend, but look on the bright side, being single will save you money.:D:D:D:D:D

No pennies in my pottie today, still merrily listing my carp on ebay, so very bored. ZZZZZZZzzzz.

    Hi all

I've been so busy over the festive period that I just haven't had the chance to spend any time here, although it's always been in my thoughts.

Anyhow, got my sealed tin going, decided I was going to put only £2 coins in (maybe I should be in the £2 savers's club!!!) but I'm sure that I'll end up putting others in there too. I get so excited everytime I find a £2 coin in my change, and I'm sure I'm getting more than I ever used to! My OH has been contributing too - in fact, he told me he had a coin for the tin and I went to take it from him - he ran to the tin, wanting to put it in himself!! :rotfl:

Keep it up everyone, I may not post often, but I drop by for inspiration!

Welcome to the forum Jimlad. I'm a newbie on this forum too as only joined at the start of the year but have had loads of fun with this challenge and reading this forum so sure you will too. Be warned though - its IS addictive! :P

Aeshna dont worry as I also get far too excited when I get a £2 coin... only had 4 so far this year but three of those have been this week so hoping that more will come soon! :)
