I don't think it counts as cheating. I put in some coins I found in the drawer of my desk - heaven knows how long they've been there. I've added a bit of carpet kill into mine today... I stayed at my friend's last night and noticed 5p on the floor this morning under my bags... I'm presuming it was mine all along but it was a pleasent suprise and every little counts.
