    Had two lots of cold weather payment, WOW fifty pounds. so put half into savings pot at bank (too tempting if its in my pot at home) and went shopping with twenty five pounds. Bought

    1 500g pack of minced beef 50 Asda reduced)

    1kg carrots 20
    5 bannanas 20

    So Easter sorted, 5 Birthday presents, 12 christmas presents, magazines and dinners for me (Oh Bliss, really miss my magazines) 20p left for the pot

    31p for my small change pot, found on dd2 bedroom floor (she said I could put it in my pot). now going to tackle dd1 floor. What is it about puberty which renders them incapable of using coat-hangers, laundry baskets, shoe-racks, and storage devices?:confused:

    last night i got oh to make a bigger hole in the top then glue the lid so im not allowed to open it untill its full, ooohh the agony & its only january! lol!
  • Back from a shopping/lunch trip to Glasgow and have one shiny £2 coin for the pot, along with 2 20ps and various shrapnel :D

  • hi lots of bargains for presents today in the sales. £3+ in pot cant remember the exact amount now lol and 22p in small bits jar.
