You sure you didn't stumble into my daughter's room by mistake, reb? Her room is so bad that her clothes are knitting themselves together to form a carpet!:rolleyes: And, when I've donned breathing apparatus to go in there, any coins on the floor are mine, ALL MINE :rotfl:

I'm adding £6.45 to my tin today, as I didn't have a single penny in change yesterday ~ it's you lot, squirrelling them all away :rotfl:

Absolutely sure. Maybe it would be easeier if we each had a go at each others kids. They tend to take more notice of other people I find. You up for it?

Errrrrrrrrrmmmmmm, not sure if your daughters room is as bad as my DD. She has animals who eat live food too. It's not the animals I object too, on the contrary I love them. But the live food has a smell all of it's own. YUCK! You just have to love 'em :lovethoug

I helped her this am too, didn't find a blooming penny. Have yet to find any roadkill yet too.
I don't get to come on here too often.
    Too buzy money saving!

:j Hi everyone and happy new year to all (back from 6 weeks hols on Tuesday so still getting back into the swing of things  )

Even though I'm supposed to be saving £2 coins only (I think), I'm going to add 50ps and £1s to the pot also as I get more of those. Doing food shopping tomorrow so I'll see what I end up with in my purse at the end of the day.

I've found out my seald pot isn't quite so sealed after all. Hubby shouted as he went out the door this morning 'just borrowed £2 from that pot love!'. It's now been suitably sealed with gaffer tape!

    :hello: Hello everybody,

    congratulations Princesswoo on your news.:j

Today I managed to get $2.72 from recycling so that's gone in the pot and have also repaid $1.00 to the pot from the IOU from when the pot was UNsealed.

I also had a bag of pennies so I have counted and bagged them and they're off to the bank later today to get changed into $1.50 so that's heading towards the pot too. All in all not a bad day :D

Keep up the good work everybody and keep your eyes peeled.

    Toodles:wave:

When I started I only saved £2 coins and 20p coins but now I *try* to put at least £2 per day in the tin as I want a healthy total at the end, so I am just putting in what I have!

Today I put in £2.20 and as usual my coppers and 5p pieces went in the separate tin!
