I've found out my seald pot isn't quite so sealed after all. Hubby shouted as he went out the door this morning 'just borrowed £2 from that pot love!'. It's now been suitably sealed with gaffer tape!

Eeeek! Personally I'd divorce him if he tries a stunt like that again.... :D:o;) :rotfl:

£4.70 for my sealed tin today but that's the total from the last three days!

13p roadkill also for that pot. I'm thinking someone else has started picking up coins in my area in the last week. The number of 'found' coins has dropped dramatically. Don't they know they're on 'my' patch :rotfl:

Found 5p roadkill when I put the rubbish out at work this afternoon and have a purse full of change but will sort that on Monday as I have a couple of MS booked and will probably need the change to pay for carparking.
It’s not worth doing something unless someone, somewhere, would much rather you weren’t doing it.

    Hi all,

Great to see everyone doing so well so early in the year! I have just cashed my coppers in and got £24.80 so I think that's not a bad start. I am expecting a baby in a few months so I think I had better try hunting harder for those pennies!!!
    I am DEBT - FREE!?!?
  • Hi everyone!

I'm so excited! First lot of Road Kill!!!!!:j :j :j 2p found! Well, OH found it at work but still classed it as my find!

Well, I have lots of change for the pot today...I had to go to an advice session at market today for work...got half way there and found no water in the windscreen washers! So had to go and get some water...the petrol station had none so I had to buy a couple of bottles! opps!:o I think a fine is due in the pot for my stupidity!

Ah well...I'm shattered after driving 120 miles today...at least I can claim the fuel back, so that money will go straight in the pot.

    Catch you all later.

    Hi Everyone,
I haven't been on here for a while, and then when I did it took me ages to catch up with all the posts. Wow!! Has the Sealed Pot Society grown or what??!!
I've been saving like blazes and the money is starting to make a satisfying thud when it hits the bottom of the pot instead of the resounding echo of a few weeks ago. :j
A big welcome to all the hundreds of newbies and a big hello to all the oldies;)
