Awwww thanks for all the well wishes, baby No3 is due around Aug/Sept not exactly sure on exact dates yet. We only found out yesterday and its still early but were so excited, especially as it was a total surprise.

I have added £3.39 to my jar today. Including £1.37 i rehomed from my mums car with her permission and 2p roak kill from my trip to the post office.

My new sealed pot is being made tonight by my DF at work. It will be a welded shut steel tube with a slot to get money in and a grid on the bottom to see how fyll its geting, to empty it it will have to be taken to his work and grinded open, so it really will be sealed.

So whilst transferring my coins into my new pot i shall have to resist counting it, cos once i count it it has value and i will start thinking of all the things i can spend it on.

    :hello: Hello everybody,

Just a quick one as this is my second visit today. Just reporting in that I changed the pennies at the bank and the $1.50 is safely nestled in my pot.

I will be going out later in the car so no chance of seeing any roadkill so it's a lean day for me today.

    Have a good weekend everybody.

    Toodles.
  • I am so frustrated, I am saving 1p, 2p, 5p, 10p and £2 coins.

Not posted for ages as not had any change - but that means I've not been out shopping so while it might be bad for the challenge it's good for the overall budget :D

I finally had to venture out to the supermarket today and ended up with a little over 60 centimes for the pot:j. There would have been a little more but the coppers were all shiny and new so they were given to the money frog instead.

  • My daddy gave me £10 today when I went to see him and mum (I felt about 12 years old again!) so after I'd been to the shop and brought crisps and chocolate for a treat (yes, still 12 years old) I'm going to put the remaining £5.30 in my pot to make up for all the other days this week I haven't put anything in. So it's looking good in there!
