whereabouts in costco (which section) do you find the dried onions RS? Sound like they'd be nice on salads?

I have copied my post below cause I don't know how to link to it:o:

I like a warm/hot cereal in the morning and since I have switched to the EE plan on SW I only have 1 HEB to use during the day. If I have cereal in the morning thats it gone:mad:

So I gave this a try and really like it - I vary it from day to day, for instance today I had blueberry and tomorrow probably rhubarb:j

Cook 1/2 cup of pudding rice in 1 cup of water for about 20 minutes (I use my remoska). Remove from heat put into a bowl, add fruit and a complementing muller yogurt and mix together! ie rice with sliced banana and toffee yogurt, rice with frozen blueberrys and a blueberry yogurt, rice with mandarin segments (chopped) and mandarin yogurt. For best results eat straight away while it is nice and warm! Tastes really nice and is very very filling! Also free on SW so can be made any time you fancy it really!

They are a constant stock item and can be found by all the Schwartz herbs and salt etc. They are made by Kirkland, which I think is Costcos own make and they are really cheap - about £2odd for quite a big jar of them. I use them in all kinds of things as they are easy and have no nasty additives in them. They also do a huge jar of dried wild and normal mushrooms but that is more expensive at around £7 and I haven't tried them yet. Your weight loss is great! How have you done it?

    Afternoon all,

Haven't been around much as I have been eating for Ireland, especially any carp that came my way....and some I had to hunt for! So just a general 'well done' to the losers as I haven't managed to catch up.

Am amazed and proud to announce to-day that I have lost 2 lbs...if I knew how I would patent the idea!

    Today's menu:

    B.. Porridge, orange juice;

L...2 bowls of homemade mixed veg soup

D.. rice with spare ribs and veg

    Sn...Apple and orange

    Well done everybody!

WI today and STS...I guess it's not surprising since I am unable to do much in the way of exercise.

Orthopaedic specialist couldn't examine me as I was in too much pain to lie on her bench...why can't they have comfortable benches/chairs? Anyway going back again on Monday, hopefully the new painkillers will be doing their job by then.

    So food today:
B: HM porridge with raisins and soya milk
D: Low fat cream cheese and tomato sandwich, satsuma
T: Sausages and HM savoury rice (from freezer)
Will try to cut out snacks, except when I need to take more painkillers (eat with food).

Feeling quite down today as I really wanted to get back to work and startpreparing for the garden courses I was going to give...not much hope for a while now!

DH rang from India this lunch time...I really miss him...sniff! Oh well he is back home on Sunday night yippee!!!

Oh well, I might just join DS2 (yes, off school again today!) in the sitting room and watch LotR...he is talking about watching all 3 dvds back to back!....not sure I can take so many hobbits all at once! Anyway we can't sit/lie down for too long in one position!

Have a good weekend, not sure when I will post next, I might come on later to get cheered up, when the orks get too much!

thanks for that, got to go sunday so will keep my eyes peeled for them!

I had a gastric bypass (nhs) in July last year, so I eat a high protein balanced diet, with treats when i want them. I don't follow any regime, just old style cooking where possible and breaking bad habits and eating triggers.

Good morning everyone, feeling a little fragile this morning after overindulging in wine last night - will have to be extra good all weekend now for weigh in Monday morning:cool:

    Today I am having:

Breakfast/Brunch - bacon, eggs, hashbrowns, HM citrus fruit salad (free)

Afternoon - scan bran cakes, coffe with milk and and that new muller yogurt with chocolate flakes ( heb, hea, free)

Dinner - turkey steaks cooked in casserole with carrots, parsnips, onions served with mashed potato and mange tout (I know the mange tout sounds a little strange in there but just found them in the dish washer and need to use them up:o)(OK now realised that veg in my dishwasher also sounds a little weird:rotfl:, it broke down a while ago and I havn't bothered to get it repaired so now use it as a cold storage box!:T)

Hope you have a lovely day
