You'd think they'd realise that the post slows down this time of year.
Had one just email me to say his parcel hadn't arrived.
I've pointed out to him that he paid at 20.30 on Saturday and it was posted at 10.00 today. There really are some very, very thick buyers out there.

Maybe he expects you to do same day delivery HANo you're not a vegetarian if you eat any animal or fish, so do not insult genuine veggies by calling yourself one!
Thanks to everyone who posts competitions. You are the stars of the board :T:j:T0 -
For all the postage he paid he probably expected you to dress up in a red suit and deliver it down his chimney.I'd rather be an Optimist and be proved wrong than a Pessimist and be proved right.0

Phew glad it's not just me - have had email from Buyer just now "Can you please tell me when you posted this as I have yet to receive it? thanks"
I posted on Friday (28th) morning 1st class along with parcel to my sis (who received hers the next day). I can't for the life of me remember how long they recommend you should leave it before claiming from post office which is what I want to tell the buyer - basically it was posted first class on Friday lets give it X amount of days to see if it arrives before taking any further action.
Anyone got any ideas/advice?

1st class, this time of year is 3-4 working days.
That said, some recorded that I posted on Saturday arrived today.
I hope you sent it recorded otherwise you're leaving yourself open to a scam.
I got DSR'd down my a Norwegian as a pair of trainers took over 5 days to arrive!

My husband has just found the info I was after so I sent them this...hope it doesn't sound too harsh...
"Hi I posted it first class airmail on the morning of the 28th which was last Friday. I posted a parcel to my sister on the same day & she received it on Saturday (but she is in the UK). As you are in Ireland your parcel was sent via airmail & the post office website states it should arrive within 3 working days however at this time of the year to expect delays "Can we remind you that during our busy Christmas and New Year period First Class mail, are considered delayed if they arrive six or more working days from the day of posting rather than five and Second Class mail and Standard Parcels are considered delayed if the item arrives eight working days from the day of posting rather than seven." They also say to wait at least 15 working days from the date of postage before considering an item lost. I think we should wait another 15 working days before taking any further action & perhaps you could visit your local sorting office to see if they are holding anything for you. Hopefully it will turn up in the next few days.
Let me know if you have any further questions.
Many Thanks
Gemma"
Unfortunately I think I may get stung with this one as they have 0 feedback score (but I guess we all start somewhere) so I am off to change my ebay settings so I don't sell to people with 0 feedback!

Sweet Jebus, complain! I thought my postie was bad, what with him just dumping parcels on the step and walking away regardless of whether we're in or not, but that crap needs to stop. Call up Royal Mail and complain.0 -

Thankfully he's a good bloke.Character is what you have left when you've lost everything you can lose.0
