If you look about half way down you will see a picture of a black speed camera with a yellow background and download the zip file containing the speed camera database.
Cannot help you on installing onto your PDA as I am having trouble doing it myself as there are different files in the zip folder and not sure which ones need to be copied over but sure someone will step foreward and give some advice0 -

150 has built in GPS head....250 is a wired GPS head. Basically both do the same.Welcome, rogerramjet.

Folks ... I have been mucking about with my unit this afternoon
and I have had some success .. I just have to drive past some speed cameras tomorrow to make sure the audible alerts work !
I have downloaded and installed POIs for speed cameras, fast food restaurants and even red light districts !!!
For other newbies like me, POI = Points Of Interest which basically comprise a list of map co-ordinates to tell your system that there is a particular category of building, place etc or whatever at that point on your map and denotes it with an icon, just like it already does for petrol stations and car parks. You can create your own POI lists if you are a map and computer wizard for anything at all you like.
Here's some pointers which got me started ... yes there is a lot of this info on some very comprehensive forums on the subject but there is kinda too much .. especially for people like me who don't want to wade through tons of info and forums but want to get the thing up n running, but like to muck around a bit ...
http://www.microsoft.com/windowsmobile/downloads/activesync38.mspx - this is the software to connect your unit to your PC ... as you may have read earlier I didn't get a CD so a previous poster recommended I download this. Thanks !!
http://www.pocketgpsworld.com/uksafetycameras.php - this page contains a zip file with tons of variations of the speed camera database for loads of different sat nav systems. All you will need are the files named pocketgps_uk_sc.asc (the database in the correct format for our PDA) and pocketgps_uk_sc (which is a bitmap file - the 'gatso icon').
http://www.navigating.de/Home_en/index.htm - POI Warner - this costs 29 euros (I think) but it will allow you to add POI lists and monitor them while navigating. Basically you follow the instructions, and instead of opening Navigator on your PDA, you open this application first and it allows your sat nav to display more than just the default car parks, petrol stations etc as you go along. You simply copy the files downloaded in the previous step and tell POI Warner to 'monitor it'. Think of anti-virus software - it works by sitting in the background but sounding an alarm when you get a virus ... so does this but for speed cams etc. It takes a little bit of poking around in the menus to make sure you have selected the POIs to be monitored, since the program is kind of in converted German, but it's not hard.
http://www.poiedit.com/index.htm - this is a free prog to convert the various POI file formats used by PDAs ... the Medion 250 needs 'ascii' or 'asc' file format, but you can download any of the millions of Tom Tom format POI files and convert them to the Medion ascii format. All you do then is dock your PDA, 'explore' it using Windows Active Sync, and copy the POI list .asc file and the icon .bmp file into the "\Program Files\POIWarner MN-Edition\pois" folder of your PDA.
http://www.poihandler.com/ - contains loads of POIs for loads of countries. If you register with this site and then enter that username into POI Warner on your PDA, you can even access the list of available POIs directly from your PDA when it is connected to your PC. This way, you don't have to change the file format as it is already recognised in your PDA. Some of the files are useful, such as fast food restaurants, pubs, etc and some aren't - air conditioning suppliers anyone ?
Hope this helps, I aren't an expert but I have spent a few hours mucking about so wanted to share my findings.
Please feel free to add more .... oh yeah and I have bought a DVD from eBay for a quid with 4GB of freeware pocket PC stuff on it so that should open up some possibilities.
Great kit !!0 -

Oooops I guess that is most of the stuff that is here then:

BTW I do not think you can download POI databases for Navigator, I tried with no success, and with out wanting to be big headed, consider myself a techincal computer whizz (most of the time):D Easy to install on Tomtom navigator software on PDA's though. The early bird may get the worm, but the second mouse gets the cheese.0 -
You're talking my language dude ... that's tempting !
I've been looking a bit deeper on the pocketgpsworld website and there's some decent POI files on there ... footy teams etc etc.
Just hope my chuffing PDA doesn't get nicked !!! hehe
By the way, a couple of people on that forum have had their's nicked, and I have spent some time routing the cables in my car so it's stealthy. The plastic disc thingy is stuck to the side of the oddments pocket above my glovebox and the cradle fits in there bent round a bit. I then chuck that in the glovebox so it's not on display, as the opportunist would break in to see if you've put the thing in your glovebox. I have removed the glovebox and put the GPS received on top (where my car kit is as well), there is plenty of room and it's out of sight, and it doesn't seem to affect the signal (fingers crossed). Also, I have routed the cable so it sticks out of the top of the glovebox to charge it up, but can be trapped safely in the glovebox out of sight again.
Boring info, but important - be safe out there !
One last thing before I retire - last night I was locked on to 10 satellites - talk about big brother! Makes you think about what's 'out there' doesn't it !0 -

Nice link, cheers.
But don't you have to buy the Tom Tom software though doozer ? (as in it's not free I mean)
I was gonna give it a try but I think there might be some compatibility issues with the Medion GPS receiver.0 -
