The price of petrol is getting out of hand, I've heard about a plan to reduce petrol costs. It involves boycotting ESSO and BP garages altogether.

This will mean that Esso/BP will be forced to reduce their prices to encourage more sales which in turn will mean that other companies will have to follow suit - hopefully resulting in a price war!

Has anyone else heard about this - what do other users feel about this plan?

That's one of the most ridiculous things I've ever heard! Sounds like a typical internet chain letter hoax.
    Can I help?

It looks a bit worrying to me. It's a completely anonymous website with no contact details and a WHOIS reveals the amateur roots of the site. "We hope to have something in October" is the vaguest yet.

So pipeline card listing has been suspended on martin's site. Good on him. Just checked the pipeline card website after a long absence and am astonished to see that now over 420,000 people have now signed on!!!!!!!
So what's is going on with this silly card or has Ben Scammell starting to live up to the first 4 letters of his surname (S C A M)!!!????
Fed up waiting and so are all my friends who I got to join up when it was first mentioned!!!! MAD as hell!
  • We have noticed a big difference swopping Tesco diesel for Shell diesel. We get on average an extra 30 - 35 miles per tank. (Don't ask me what that equates to in mpg, I haven't a clue.)

No doubt about it, quality fuel is better. They apparently give it another shot of additives that make it kinder to your engine, increase woomph and more mpg. I do a lot of miles and definately notice the difference.
That's why I'm so keen to sign up to one of these fuel card schemes because they seem to be leaning towards the quality fuel brands.
