She does have an id like that but shes waiting for a replacement as its got a great big smear over her picture. Its not something she would carry around with her all the time though it would be better if they accepted some other kind of id aswell

I's a good idea that shops can put up discount stickers like the opticians you mentioned. It reminded me that someone told me the police force get free dental treatment, eye care, prescriptions any kind of healthcare. I know they have an important job but so do nurses and doctors. I know my daughter works hours overtime without pay and does 8 and 12 hour shifts with no break at all.Thanx

It is likely that they have employee healthcare which covers this. I know that my mum when she worked in M&S used to get a certain amount of dental cover although probably stopped now.0 -
the police havent had free dental treatment for many years now and have to pay for prescriptions eye tests/ etc just like anyone else.0

I bought Microsoft office enterprise using my NHS discount, it cost around £18 from what I remember so quite bargainous!
I don't have a link to the one I bought mine from sorry but I paid by debit card and it arrived about 2 weeks laterSometimes you have to go throughthe rain to get to therainbow0 -
We can sign up for the microsoft office offer via our intranet homepage. It costs £17.something! All you have to do is basically sign up using your NHS email address and they send you a verification link then off you go!Debt free = December 2010...as of March 2006 it is now January 2010..... as of December 2008 it is now December 2009 :j hopefully sooner!!:jDEBT FREE:j January 2012, took longer but I got there, all by myself, through sheer hard work and pride!0
