I don't suppose student nurses qualify for any of the discounts/services on http://www.nhsdiscounts.com/ ? Can't seem to find any terms and conditions on there.

as long as you have an nhs identity card then you do but if you haven't then nope.

I work in Evans and we stopped NUS and NHS discount on 31st August. We were not given a reason for this but I can only presume its to save money, i suppose they have to do it somewhere!

Can anyone confirm that ALL NHS staff get 50% off at dominos? I thought it was only for emergency services when in uniform?

Maybe its just the one near us then, they bring in proper colour printed flyers and little cards to each ward/dept and its usually 20-25% off!

So is it just NHS staff who get a discount or does it apply to other emergency services? I work for the Fire Service.

My daughter is an NHS nurse is it just as simple as walking into a shop and asking if they give NHS discount and showing her nurse id or does she need anything else?

Where can we see a list of online and offline retailors that give a discount?

I just had to ring a hairdresses to make her an appointment and by chance mentioned she is a nurse and they told me she would get a 15% discount which led me to look on mse about it. I just thought how many other shops do it and don't want her to miss out on anything

I've noticed at least two shops round my way have [NHS Discount] window stickers so you should keep an eye out for these. One was an optician (Twenty/Twenty in Glasgow) think the other one was local coffee shop. I have a proper NHS ID badge with my pic on it that I clip to my tunic as I'm a dental student. Are we talking about the same sort of ID?
