Foegot to say my little car passed its mot no problems:j and straightforward with service - meant only cost £130 for both. Quite happy with that since it is 10 years old now and the only thing I have had to buy since I got it is new tyres:D
Just the road tax next month nd that's the car sorted for another year hopefully:rolleyes:0 -
Hi Everyone,
Sorry it's a bit late, but been really busy over the last couple of days. Right, DFW things for the last couple of days.........
Saturday
Done nothing, checked banking, but other than that, had a lazy (free/NS) day
******Counted my Terramundi ~ £474.90 :j - bagged up and ready to bank*********
Sunday
Mooched around town looking at xmas pressies (bought a treat for me 3 for 2)
Talked myself out of buying a new terramundi, emptied a tin of coffee, and wrap it in paper and loads of cellotape
Made soup for the week
Today
Checked bank, and worked out what to pay
Paid Sealed Pot money into the bank
Overpaid CCCS (extra coming from sealed pot money)
Paid NPower (long story, but it went to Moorcroft, bill was £450, but reduced to £337.50 for a card payment today)
Treated myself to a coffee in town
Bought Xmas cards, plus anniversary and birthday cards in one go - went to a cheap shop rather than paying £2 - £3 each card (M&S) I got 9 for £7
Bought a bag from M&S, but it is going back as I don't really like it
Off to make lunch for work tomorrow
Take care everyone,

HI Everyone
Looks like everyone has had a successful DFW day - well done all.
I got back from work quite late so am feeling really knackered. I usually get my second (or third wind) at about 9:30 to 10pm so I'll just catch up with the internet and watching a bit of TV!
So today I have:- Checked the report for my insurance
- Ordered wedding present for OH's sister and her fiance
- checked bank balances - I haven't been in my OD for a while
- Took my lunch in to work
- NSD 2 (out of 8)
- Write receipt for lodger's rent Done
- move money to savings accounts for future payment of 0% cards Done
- Tick off all the direct debits that have gone Done
- clear out the medicine drawer Done
- Write out final christmas present list - I don't have many to buy for. Done
- Write a few christmas cards
- Think about lunch for tomorrow - I'm thinking peanut butter and jam. Done
- A bit of ironing
- Pack the washing machine for tomorrow to go on when I leave for work. Done

ps
my sofa comes home on thursday - newly recovered and hopefully a DFW as it will last forever now - we can't wait - has cost a bit, but has been paid for my cows (those of you who know will find that very funny). I do!!
Do feel a bit naughty as I did say to the lady, um, no if you dont mind, can you please deliver it here, cos (its cost alot) and I have done lots of running around to get fabric etc etc etc, so its nice for me if she delivers it (naughty huh?) and it saves my petrol
Its really DFW as its only fabric and some bits that have made it as good as new (i tell myself) tis also a fun sofa (one of the arms collapses down to make a chaize lounge thingmy - DD has already got her eye on it for her first flat (she's only 12 lol) no idea how old it is - probably like sitting on your granny - but hoping with less lumps..........tee hee.Total debt 26/4/18 <£1925 we were getting there.
