Goodness me it's December! how did that happen?

Late again, but I might be on the first page, you never know....

Bright red sparkly necklace for me today. Have checked online banking, and don't like it one bit. Think I need to do some major re-working of the budget, so that's going to be my priority job over the next few days.

Spent too much on food as I had the exOH round at the weekend, had a great time, but will need to live out the store cupboard for the rest of the month!

Sophiesmum - I'm still blown away by your sealed pot amount, I've entered it this year too - is it a good idea to shake guests as they arrive or when they leave? This is the only way I can imagine getting anywhere near your total :rotfl:

  • Think I may at last be beating this cold back:D

It is a lovely bright sunny day here today and it makes you feel like doing loads.

    So today I will
    Check online banking done
    Post 2 ebay parcels done
    List 2 more items
Look for 5 more items to List
Make GF bread in breadmaker done
Back up documents etc on computer.
Get myself organised to do some work this week
Find template to make boxes with Rainbows done
I may go and collect batteries I reserved from argos for ds camera if I have to go out to do other things. I still feel a bit wobbly on my legs
I will ring solicitor to arrange signing of will. done
Ring garage to get car booked in for surgery
    Hang washing out done
I have filed all my paperwork over weekend so I will put box files away
Ds informs me he has nearly finished essay, just needs intoduction and conclusion and he is done, bless him he is dyslexic and this is the first large one he has done. So we will print it off today.
I will check my electricity and gas meter to see usage done

So 1st things 1st I will go and get dressed, See if I can make myself feel a bit brighter, (my bright pink fluffy socks are dry) Found Christmas Sheep ones. Actually I need them today, whenever I have a bad cold etc I always feel really flat afterwards. Its like I haven't got anything to look forward to, that sort of feeling, when really I have no reason to feel like that. (I have plenty of good things going on) I just want the feeling to pass

Sorry sounding a bit bleak, but all of you have a lovely day :D
My finances are work in progress.
    Normal veiwing will resume shortly

Depends what age your little 'uns are Miss Piggy (piglets?) but walks are def. good especially in windswept bleak landscapes, hot chocolate on your return is then a real treat :D We talked about landscape affecting our moods the other night, cos friends are spending Christmas in remote part of Norfolk & I reckon a cold dry Christmas in Norfolk is perfect walking country. (I'm wittering here:o )

    :D

We are going near bournemouth for four days over new year. Looking forward to it - just money issues causing a cloud over it. Kids are 14, 13 and 3 so should enjoy walks. They're pretty good kids so won't expect to go to loads of expensive places thank god!!!
