    Our redundancy thing is realy dragging out. Now we won't know til Tuesday evening....

    Anyway. Finally got on to the money-making bit of slice the pie and have made all of 20p so far...
    Checked online banking
    packed lunch
    will be staying in tonight and making stuff for a cupcake order on Saturday.
  • Afternoon all!! Hi too all those good no spenders and happy holidays!! Its nearly xmas!!
    Its payday on Friday for me and im gradually sorting bits out for then to start my brand new regime. I have been goodish....
    What have i done today, past few days whilst on night shifts....and what my play up til Friday will be...
    · Traded in loads of old dvds and managed to get a cute Dogz game for my Will in return! I have got another game for half price online, free delivery by shopping around too!
    · Got xmas present for friends new baby. Booties and a hat reduced in local baby shop only spent 4.50!! its a fab little pressie
    · Xmas cards....no spend there i have loads left from last year
    · Made healthy lunch from home with bargins i got from tesco yesterday
    · Working on my uni essay
    · Got a free movie rental from blockbuster coz i opened their student account!
    · Got my free issue of olive magazine through
    · Worked out travel costs for next year will be much cheaper the way i have worked out annual leave....should save about 70 pounds a month!!
    · Dinner tonight from home tesco shopping from yesterday
    · Will tidy room up at some point
    · Play wii fit tonight
    · Take rubbish to the dump
    · Take clothes and bits to charity shop
    · Look for new waves to make money
    · Write out xmas cards
    · Start my flat finance plan....im buying next summer shared ownership.work out all the costs!
    · Meal plans
    · Cancel old credit cards i don’t use so i can get my credit rating good for the mortagge next year
    · Wrap xmas pressies
    · Sell old car stereo

    Thats it!!! So far!!!
    Miss piggy ...hope things get better soon, keep positive. Try doing some free cheap things to keep motivated.i know your in Swindon, but my place has 4 vacanices for comms officers 27k plus free travel pass...its in London? Or bham is recruiting....just a thougth.
    Elizabeth..the leg warmers in primark are brilliant! I got a pair to try only a quid..i must get some more!!!

    took my own lunch to work,
    done one online servay,
    cheaked internet banking,
    got a free news paper from the train stashion,
    Done may payment a day on my cc,
    and started a new month in my spending dairy,

    It could have been much worse. So, many shiny, lovely things... I would advise anyone going to NOT take their credit card. Cash or debit card (with limited funds) only.

    I did return a £20 item I didn't need so at least that helped. Or so I tell myself! :p
  • To help with my DFW attempt, today I have worked my wotsits off (pity hardly anyone was home to pay me).
    Excluding some DDs that went from my account today, I have had an NSD so far.

    1. Checked online banking
    2. NSD
    3. Piggy clicks
    4. Check vouchers for shopping tomorrow and put in purse
    5. Received £10 M&S voucher from valued opinions and put away for sales:o

    • paid #615 - December's loan payments
    • checked my banking - overdraft cleared now too so just those loans left :D
    • updated whatsthecost snowball, haven't been on for ages and it's such a good motivator :T

    Made chicken soup from yesterdays leftovers
    Store cupboard lunch & dinner
    Snuggled up with LO under the duvet watching films all day to keep warm
    Made bread

    I have just put DS to bed with his PJs, dressing gown and blanket on plus hot water bottle. When is it gonna warm up???

  • Late one from me...I know hardly anyone will read but I still wanted to post!:j

    Today I have:
    • Had a NSD
    • Looked through my spending diary I have kept since finding this site....I had 6 NSD's in Oct and 8 in Nov! Really pleased...didn't realise it was so many
    • Checked online banking and transfered some funds into wedding fund
    • Been to work
    • Had a packed lunch
    • OH made a storecupboard tea
    • OH had day off today and went into town to get a few xmas presents for me (from him and santa!) I gave him a strict budget and he text me at 11am very smug to say he was home, had done everything and had bought a treat from himself too! Very pleased with him!
    If I get time after Eastenders I will make a few calls using free minutes and may start putting 2009 diary in filofax so I'm super orgainsed!

    Oh and I had a cracker in my advent calander today! :rotfl:
