Snap, I am just working through the bits which i still need to get and what I may need in the M&S sale, I have some vouchers to use up so hoping to arrange things to be able to go on Thursday and finish my shopping
  • I'm in again - though it's parents' evening tomorrow so I won't be home til late!

Guess who went to football without her season ticket and had to [STRIKE]run [/STRIKE]walk rather quickly back home to get it and, consequently, arrived at the match 10 minutes after kick-off ........ :o

Oh well - was a good match and I may have had a San Miguel or two in the pub afterwards ;)

I have tried to catch up with last week's and this thread but am sure I've missed stuff! I would like to say that I am not from Lancashire or Yorkshire, nor are any of my family, nor have we ever lived there :p

Valli - I may join you in your MACAW as I tend to have a bag of school stuff to sort on a regular basis (and I don't even have a desk!!)

Hugs and / or alcohol to anyone who wants / needs one (or two!)
Off to find the list now ............

Oooh, you beat me to it Pigpen - Valli, what on earth does gnomic stand for? I'll have to look that up I think...:D

  • I'm back in this week! Just trying to catch up with all the posts (a forlorn hope, I think LOL!).

Clearing up the spare room could be tricky..........all the new tiles for the kitchen are carefully stashed in there, along with the under-cupboard lighting and the wood wainscoting - we did a Big DIY shop using a 15% off B&Q voucher that they sent us via email. We also got 10% off in Homebase on the worktops and tiles (their 10% off weekend), plus a further 10% as they took longer than 2 mins to turn up at the Wood Cutting Area where you order the worktops from. We also ordered our new hob from Comet, who were having a Grand Opening at their revamped Farnborough store and got 10% off that too!
So my Monday will be spent clearing out the eaves room (aka the "throw it in here 'cos no-one can see it" room) and my sewing & crafts cubby hole!

Hugs to all who want or need one - going to shut down and go for an early night - my hands are cramping 'cos I'm knitting a Christmas Gnome (one of Alan Dart's patterns) using double knit wool and Very Small Needles!
Obedient women are never remembered in History!

November Grocery Challenge: 03/11/10 Spent £77.84:)
    10/11/10 Spent £84.95 17/11/10 Spent £79.63 24/11/10 Spent £75.39 :j
December Grocery Challenge 30/11/10 Spent £32 Clubcard Vouchers and £79.15 Cash. 08/12/10 Spent £77.73 Cash and £127.50 Clubcard Vouchers - Christmas is now sorted!!! :snow_grin

Course stuff all ready and my letter to post, need to find payment book for homework club, it seems to have disappeared into the black hole.

    Nite everyone.
Sometimes it seems that the going is just too rough.
And things go wrong no matter what I do.
Now and then it seems that life is just too much.
But you've got the love I need to see me through.
