Zoey welcome home, hope your recovery goes well, ouchy staples, I had disolving stitches, I don't think my holes were big enough for staples

I had a total of 56 clips (staples) in my arm - they were taken out after two weeks and it was quite weird watching the nurse using a staple remover that looked pretty much like the ones I use on the displays at school!!! Hope you're not too sore Zoey x

Back from seeing Santa - another box ticked, I love that Santa - been the same one since I started taking DS1 13 years ago. It made me feel all magical.

lil_me...managed about half of it sort of. The sticks are now drying in the bottom oven, will be useful for kindling I hope! And some bits are nice and thick so will do for burning. Means I don't have too much to get to the green tip.

In my HHC (late posting because DS got on here and my friend phoned) I did the ironing - stuff has been out all day but till damp, and collected the stuff that was too wet so it had been put in the tumble drier (in shed) Noticed DDs school trousers didn't have a nametape sewn in so I sewed the nametape on. Then I unpicked it because I had sewn it on the outside and sewed it in again but in the proper place lol (talk about durr brain!)

Ouch staples sound painful! I had stitches which had to be cut out of my fingers, the worst bit was them using a scalpel to clear the scabs to get to them  Even then they missed about 3 which I cut out myself.

    Good Evening everyone!!!!

Back from WORK lol. Was an induction day today, had to go through all the health and safety, company policy and all that kind of stuff.
Lots of form filling and watching very dated videos. Got my locker key and uniform just before we left, will get my name tag/clocking in card on Monday when I have to be there 10-4/5 for the actual training.

Going to chill out tonight, cos I want to give the house a good going over tomorrow, so I can try and keep on top of things.

Thanks to Natty and Kassey, your cards have arrives safely.

Had our works night out last - Sleepers Pigpen, had a lovely meal - then off the the pub. Feeing less than pristine even though I didn't drink much, I don't thnk me and alcohol get on anymore.:rotfl:

Off to another 'do' tonight, my friend's DD 18th, can't stay too late as my DD2 has decided to come and she starts work at 11pm (nightclub) so I shouldn't be up too late tonight. (Also I will have to drive son stone cold sober)

I will have to make up for a week of not much flying tomorrow, you lot make me feel quite guilty;) Though I have managed to do 4 WM loads and most of it is dry.

Chunky - ((hugs)) to you and your family at such a difficult time.

Edit - just seen you post Summermoon, have a good time at work next week.

ZLS - good to have you home, make sure you get as much rest as you can.
