Oh bother...just seen that sunset it at 4.11pm...so I suppose I should go and clear this mess before it gets dark. Bye bye coffee *sob, sniff*, hope it stays warm on the hot plate.

Rach - I had a Magimix as a wedding gift. It died last year when it was 25 years old! I now have a Morphy Richards which is also lovely (couldn't afford the Magimix), and I do wonder how people manage without them - it's probably because I'm lazy!:D

Froddington - SS's bathroom, kitchen, shower room, hung up machine load of washing to dry, and brought more stuff downstairs from the old study and rehomed them safely. :T Not finished emptying the room yet, but making it a policy that no one goes upstairs and comes down empty handed! :rotfl:Well done with your HHC.

Natty thanks for the card from you which also arrived this morning
g&b I don't think there is anything that could make it do that on the settings....try asking on the techie board they might be able to help
Zoey welcome home, hope your recovery goes well, ouchy staples, I had disolving stitches, I don't think my holes were big enough for staples
Gryfon it's really dark here already, hope you got it sorted
rach pleased to hear your evening went well, you've got your DH well trained haven't you ;)
julie, reward incentives can work sometimes, www.chartjungle.com has several printables on. One I liked was where they earned points for doing good things, then with my boys each point was worth a penny, every child has a different motivation so it gives the option of changing the final reward. Unfortunately until your DH changes his manner with her, I doubt she'll change hers much with other people as she currently sees no wrong in the way she speaks to others because that is the way she's spoken to. I have banned my partner from asking the boys to do anything for him, inc getting his shoes etc, because he couldn't ask nicely he's been told not to ask at all. He's started asking again, but is much nicer about it. I really had to treat him like the child because it was his bad behaviour causing problems, but it's made things much easier/nicer.
sexymouse pleased to hear your kitty is home safe and well

Been to party, went well to be honest, DS1 coped quite well. We did go a bit later so was less stressful for him. Looking at the queues to get in the supermarket car parks etc I can see why they say this is the busiest shopping weekend of the year.

DP in a right sorry for himself mood as he has the bug, I couldn't resist threatening to leave him to look after the children alone because that is what he did to me last week! He's asleep on the sofa at the mo and I am soooo tempted to do something horrible to him, :o in a mischief mood and he's been getting on my nerves lately, sleeping on the sofa annoys the heck out of me, pet hate as he's in the way and moans at the kids if they make a noise, wish he'd just clear off to bed.

Anyway, not much flying done yet, took me 45 minutes to catch up with you all :p lunch was eaten at the party, need to make some dinner. Don't know if I should sort DS1s room out for my Mam staying tomorrow or not, if DP is still feeling sorry for himself we won't be going out anyway.
One day I might be more organised...........
