Too late Pink Fairy :rotfl: Afraid to say that I've just spent the last 50 minutes chopping and sawing two big budlia bushes down so now it's time for coffee. Going to drink that and then go and finish chopping up all the bits. They're both down but the mess is filling up a parking space (yes there was lots of it)! I think I'm going to dry out the thick bits with no leaves on and use the in the fire. The very leafy bits I think I'll take to the green tip tomorrow if they're open before I walk the dog.

Phew have phoned the shop with the 'vehicle' I have reserved for collection - the collection date was generated by their system, not my choice, anyhoo they are happy to hold it - so I have asked to collect Thursday - this gives me plenty of time (I hope) to sort the vouchers. Apparently they have problems with this system (no deposit is required) where people order on line then don't turn up at all. They cannot hold what is, in effect, unsold stock (understandable) but appreciated my getting in touch to update them so no problem and I can relax.

DS is much better and no longer deathly white...

Made the pudding (using the magimix - totally in love with it already! Feels like lovely quality and i love the design...sad I know!). Have also wrapped the prezzies I need to do for tonight, might do a few more before we go out.

zls - glad it went well

DH seems to have suddenly started to be fly-aware! He has done loads of cleaning recently and is being a star! Think he's realised that once you start you want it to stay nice, and likes it neat and tidy and clean (as I do!). He is stardrops' (or stardust as he keeps calling it!) biggest fan!! I'm taking some of the credit as he's definitely changed since we got married and started to live together.
