Yuukkkk
Picture the scene
as I was last posting DS appeared at the top of the stairs and started to come down...he was told by me to go back up...he doesn't normally wake once asleep so alarm bells rang...next second he was in the bathroom, over the sink puking...I run to kitchen to find deofab (for carpet) and disinfectant (back of cupboard not seen for months (the cupboard I cleaned and kept admiring so I knew it was there lol) then I run upstairs and instuct him to rinse out sink as I cannot stand the aroma and am incapable of clearing vomit other than mine...
I grab toothmug as he has had a drink using it (so obviously it is covered in germs) and toothbrushes to rinse just in case...he has now got cup of boiled cooled water. I have got DD to text their dad - he is staying in tomorrow regardless (he is well cheesed off as he is ill on a weekend) not going to dads. DD on the other hand IS as she will be out of the way...
Still if my registered letter comes tomorrow he will be here to sign for it - so that's good.
He has a bucket by his bed (which I had already placed in position just in case) but I have now put some disinfectant in there - just in case..
I have also phoned my friend (tentative meet arranged for tomorrow) but left message with her son...
the wine then, was a BAD idea...
ETA off to bed then - thinking linen change could have been deferred - had I but known.
He's asleep again so...Don't put it DOWN; put it AWAY"I would like more sisters, that the taking out of one, might not leave such stillness" Emily DickinsonJanice 1964-2016
Thank you Honey Bear0 -
cheers pink fairy good idea the pashmina - i have already given her a fine wool throw which she uses on her lap so thats a good idea. I thought i had seen pub quiz books but when I went looking I couldnt find them again so will ahve another try. I had thought about an annual but dont know what his fav team would be so thought I might go for a character one - would Dr Who or something like that do?
The HMV token is probably a no-no - they have dozens and dozens of cds but now mainly download music. but will bear it in mind.
Thanks for thinking though!!!!
toots xx

Stoopid cat! He's gone off somewhere and stoopid OH has used the torch so I can't go out to look for him and can't see him in the dark as he's totally black! I've called and called him, but I'm not going to stay up all night waiting for him to turn up. Have left the back door just pushed to so he should be able to push it open. Just hope he wakes me up when he gets in so I can get up and close it again or the house will get very cold.Enjoy the little things, for one day you may look back and realize they were the big things.I married Moon 8/4/2011, baby boy born 26/9/2012, Angel Baby Poppy born 8/11/15, Rainbow baby boy born 11/2/20170

Michelle, I agree follow the childs lead, we did try to push DS1 a bit too much IMO and he wasn't interested in the slightest until he was about 5. Now his readings well above average.
Valli hope your DS is better soon
soappie I am sure he'll be fine tomorrow, try not to worry too much it occasionally happens to my partner but he's usually fine within 24 hours and normal idleness resumes
I am soooo pleased I'm a celebrity is finished, I hate it but the boys keep sneaking tele on upstairs to watch it, DS2s just threw a right strop because I switched it off.....

(Yes for a change because of the offers on etc Sainsburys is cheapest!)One day I might be more organised...........

Right - I'm off to bed. Sods Law means that as soon as I get all warm and cozy, cat will come in and I'll have to get up to close the back door again.
Night all!
