He has been and fitted the blind and gone away again. So I could hoover.

Think it was because Valli mentioned a joke about the blind man, so confusion rained for a while... glad you have them fitted now!;)

I'm still deleting emails and installing Office  Just about to put the next load of washing in the TD and sort out the washing for another load. Hopefully I should be able to get the majority of the ironing done tonight, and maybe even some cleaning.

Couldn't resist it after the tea pots confusion lol

:rotfl: I guessed you meant 'evening tea' or 'high tea' as it is know in these ere parts but it was just the way you worded it - tea pots are pots of tea, not pots you cook the tea in...:rotfl: I love the various ways we all communicate...

Ohhh, what do you call the ends of the bread? I call them toppas, hubby calls them crusts, anyone else? and what about the side streets you drive down when avoiding traffic? I call them back doubles, but no-one has a clue what I'm on about...:rotfl: :rotfl:

Dusty, free range for our household, I normally try to get fresh and freeze any that we are left with to have later in the month, usually get full size as no probs with what bit of the bird they eat, then use carcus for stock and make soup.

I have decluttered lounge & hall, emptied & reloaded the WM again and started tea. Kids excited as getting decs out later collecting tree tomorrow from local farm at 9.30am so want to get organised tonight.

I go on a bus trip twice a year and one of the highlights is the High Tea we have on the way back. Main course plus scones and jam and plate of cakes plus plenty of cups of tea (or coffee). Now that's 'proper' High Tea.

    Fab news Summermoon! :j

And woo hoo...I've sent the cards! I'm usually really late and really disorganised but I've done it :rotfl:

Been to the doctors and he gave me a cortisone (I think) injection in my back to help with the bit that's in pain. Back to see him in two weeks to see how it's going. Got an aching back and leg now though
