I dunno I think that some of the doctors I see are fabulous! I went with bad headaches a few weeks ago and whilst he thought it was neck problems (which it seemed to be) I also got sent for a brain scan just incase. Shame you've had some bad ones :(

Gah I should do something constructive but can't be bothered!

All.. All bad.. no good.. my daughter has a permanently damaged hip because of their negligence and their assumption I was stupid. My son had to have reconstructive surgery on his penis at 4 years old after a botched circumcision..

My grandad was being treated for a leg ulcer. Nurse came regularly to change the dressing. It got to the stage he could hardly walk. My cousin happened to be around one day when the nurse came round and stayed in the room. He went absolutely mad when he saw the state of it. It had turned gangrenous and stank - how on earth a qualified nurse didn't notice I have no idea. My cousin insisted he was taken to hospital - the GP thought he was "making a fuss" and even said that in a note to go with grandad to the hospital. The specialist was horrified when he saw the leg and said he should have been in weeks before. His leg was amputated, but he didn't even survive a fortnight after. He was nearly 93 at the time, but doesn't justify neglect.

Soappie. Mum was fine and loved seeing the snow. I wrapped her up and we dashed outside to see the xmas tree they had put up. It was beautiful with the snow lying on it. We only dashed out for a minute as it was snowing heavily and freezing. They didnt have their Thorntons moring as they couldnt get there.

That's really nice Boddy! I think your Mum would have really enjoyed seeing the Christmas tree and the snow - even if the Thorntons morning was put on hold

I'm a bit annoyed. I ordered a Horrible Histories annual two days ago from Play.com. I got an e-mail acknowledging the order, and just checked to see whether or not it had been dispatched, only to see that my account has been declined.:mad: !!!!!! for? Their loss - I've now ordered it from Amazon (and it's cheaper) as I've never had any problems with them. I had this problem with Play a few months ago. It turned out that the bank had not put our new address on the account so the details I'd put on the Play account differed from the ones with the bank. I would have thought they'd have checked this time. Anyway I'm phoning them up tomorrow to let them know what I think of them - an e-mail explaining that my account had been declined, with some sort of explanation, would have been courteous, but to not bother to let me know is a bit rude to say the least

Right, I'm off to the kitchen to make a :coffee: and then off to bed. Got a busy day tomorrow of catching up on flying to do :rotfl:
