boddy hope it goes well for you tomorrow and they do Thorntons another day, that sounds lovely.

Gryfon I had a look, think I have seen that site before, wow, so expensive! I print out most things like planners etc free on www.chartjungle.com and other sites. I paid £1 for my family organiser calendar, same for my large diary.
One day I might be more organised...........

Off to get DS from training BUT since I have caused a stationery riot on the thread I have to post that I have also done some flying

    Taa Daah

My dining room has been level 3 cleaned! Mind you it helped that DD was on the PC...

and I have washed and dried and put away the tea pots.

Friday is looking good in Valliland...cos if the DR is all shiny and clean I can get on with all the HHP I need to do..and the banking...

Pigpen - you have to get over your fear of doctors (my little brother is one, they're not all bad ;) )

they dont scare me.. they disgust me.. they have an appalling attitude & cannot be trusted. they are condescending and are totally deluded by their own percieved self importance.. Veyr low opinion here.. one of our quack told my dad they only do one incision when doing a vasectomy.. so my dad slapped out his todger on his desk and said well I can ASSURE you they did 2!! The same quack diagnosed 'flu' and 'a cold' when my sister had a massive kidney infection and she almost died.. he had seen her twice and prescribed paracetamol.. he said she had a chest infection when she had septicaemia and toxic shock from a tampon. And doctors are the reasons I have the structural abdominal problems I have.. because not one I have met can do their job properly...They think once they are qualified they have no need of further trainign so are so far behind recent developments the average 10 year old knows more... and don't even get me started on midwives and health visitors...

Lil_me.. if it was a blanket rule fair enough but there are no specific rules set out and they just make them up as they go along depending on whether or not your 'face' fits..

I dunno I think that some of the doctors I see are fabulous! I went with bad headaches a few weeks ago and whilst he thought it was neck problems (which it seemed to be) I also got sent for a brain scan just incase. Shame you've had some bad ones :(

Gah I should do something constructive but can't be bothered!

You certainly seem to have had your fair share of bad doctors pigpen! I have met a few arrogant toads in my time but on the whole most docs i or LO has seen have been great.
Flying has been pretty much non existent round here today, by the time i finished uni, went shopping, made dinner, picked up LO and set up new lappy i was pooped.
Have at least done the dishes and S&S'd the kitchen though.

I have a mixed opinion of doctors - they either seem to be carp (like the one that operated on my back and made it worse) or very good. No inbetweens.

Still I've cleaned all the bathrooms and the family room today and made a heap of marzipan topped mince pies for the freezer.

Kids had friends for tea and I had a large glass of wine.

I'm doing nothing tomorrow - might have a mooch around town.

I'm also lucky to have a good GP, however our last one left a lot to be desired, sent DS1 home as a baby when he was chronically dehydrated, I knew he was so took him to hospital and they put him on a drip as soon as we got there. I also know some great midwives, fab health visitors but some ruddy god awful ones too, Matthew's HV is a pain in the backside. Comes down to who you end up with I think as to what opinion you get of them.

Well I have marched 2 children to bed, need to have a tidy round. DPs left 5 cans and a cup, again! I'm impressed how well I've managed to keep things, even with everyone else trying to mess things up it doesn't take too long to clear.

    g&b happy new laptop day!
