    Evening all

lady-l - hugs over your smallest cat...
Rach - I always shove my shower curtain in at 40 on a quick wash
Boddy - how nice of your DD being a birthing partner - I can imagine it would be quite emotional (though I've only ever been the one pushing and swearing!) How was your Mum?
Mudbath - I think the pink and fluffy filofax is a lovely idea!
Lil-me - I loved the youtube clip - that's one very clever dog! Oh - and with WIL stopping - is she the one with the photo?, can you get her drunk one night and ask about the mysterious soldier? I've been doing some research but not got very far I'm afraid.
Pink - how's the chest? Are you going to have to go back to work next week?
Valli - good luck with the scan
Dusty - just got your email - will reply shortly

Nice day at work today - being on the course yesterday has really helped me so I was able to get lots done. Only trouble is I've found out I am back at the other site from next Monday until middle of January - but, at least it's just one complete stretch rather than two weeks here and one week there etc.. I'll also be positioned in a different office which, hopefully, won't be so cramped as the last one!

I'm also really pleased that the Halifax have stated they won't invoke their collar on trackers (thanks to the FSA and KFI!). Means my mortgage will go down AGAIN! In fact, it will now be under £200 per month - ridiculous! But I am paying over the top to clear it sooner. I just feel really sorry for people renting and with big credit card debts - the credit card interest rates don't seem to be moving down at all - that, surely, would help more people than just those with mortgages? But I guess that's a bit of a radical thought so please don't flame me!

Right, need to reply to emails then find something to watch on TV tonight. I'm tired again because of listening to the rain at 4am this morning. I really need to put clearing gutters on my weekend list!

    Well? What have you bought?

Sorry for the missed bit of code - I will try and read stuff without the goggles on - sorry for messing you about!

Last time I had a scan I saw DD - she looked at the 'camera' -that was the Thursday - she was 'removed' the following Monday. She was (and is) so beautiful. The doc 'nicked' her head with the scalpel but as she grew the scar went into her hair so she ended up perfect...
(Don't tell her I said that) total bliss that section...

Just finished the thread - and just 15 mins till dinner - beef casserole and jacket potatoes. It's worth the hassle of preparing the night before when I can have an evening off cooking!

I came home to find we'd all got letters from a solicitors about fraudulent activity - looks like DS1 has had his ID stolen. Very unpleasant tone in letter, threatening legal action, telling us a huge dossier has gone to the police, that we must have been aware of the activity since we live at the same address - no acknowledgement of the fact that someone who doesn't live here simply stole DS1's paypal and email! We have rung and left message denying all charges and will be seeking legal advice.

I am not going to let it spoil our day in France tomorrow - I have so been looking forward to it! I rather hope the weather isn't too awful - but it improved a lot during today so fingers crossed. I did most of the flying on Tuesday, so have a clear conscience.I'll just throw in a load of washing, and do the rest over the weekend - along with some more shopping I guess!

    Serena

We had a similar incident - main thing is stick to your guns - and write a letter confirming what you have told them, that you had no knowledge until they contacted you, and keep copies. make a note of all phone calls but I would always write TBH then you have records of what has been said.
We found the police were not interested in the slightest... but we got it sorted. Can't give you any more help than this as we didn't get as far as needing legal advice BUT if you do try CAB, local law centre and remember most solicitors will give you an initial free half hour consultation - and you can have more than one of those with different solicitors because you are looking for one you feel you can work with - and you don't have to ask them all the same questions...HTH

Dont know if I have already posted, but I am going to post anyway.

Interview went well, if I get the job i will have a phone call tomorrow with a view to starting on Saturday.

Anyhoo, just got about a million bags of toys clothes and stuff off my mother(she's clearing out my nephews room) so I have sat and gone through it all, kept the stuff the kids will play with and the rest has gone on freecycle.

Have had a clean around in the kitchen and sorted out a couple of cupboards and rearranged things a bit.
Kids and DP fed, going to get something for myself in a little while, then I am going to chil out for the rest of the evening.

Hugs serena - what a nightmare!

Embb - they are lovely aren't they. You don't know how close I was to ordering the little green one....it's gorgeous but I MUST NOT, I MUST NOT, I MUST NOT buy it, lol. I can't justify it being out of work for three months starting Thursday.

Mudbath goes off muttering how much she doesn't need it, how it isn't cute, and little, and a lovely shade of green:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: xx
