    Well done Ste! That's briiliant!

Did you use my rather ingenious chat up line??
    Not yet.

(I have to admit I'm painfully slow at this sort of thing.)
  • Ah hunny, she's probably hoping you'll say something!

But slow is ok-doing things spur of the moment can lead to all sorts of problems ;)

You're probably right (I hope so).

I have to admit I have been getting my hopes up a bit too much though.
  • Well, the worst than can happen is she says 'no' and whilst that can hurt a bit, I don't think anyone has been mortally wounded by the word.

On the other hand, she can say yes and you could end up being friends and maybe more for a very long time! For all you know, she could be standing there, waiting every day for your happy face to come in and hoping today will be the day you finally get up the nerve to ask her out.

(ok, I did say I was a hopless romantic...but I still believe in love)

I now have honey and lemon to drink with a dash of JD although I think I prefer it without.

I totally agree with Bunny, slow and considered is the way to go, spur of the moment gets you into all types of trouble:rolleyes:

I may have to put on one of my Poorly day films

Uncle Buck OR Carry on Camping although I quite fancy Never been kissed with Drew Barrymore...............you lot decide.
But these things take time, I know that I'm, the most inept that ever stepped.
  • Lou, it has to be Uncle Buck!

Classic movie-almost as funny as Planes, Trains and Automobiles!

Did I mention I'm already planning the wedding and the three kids in my head?

And LouiseJ, Uncle Buck is definitely the way to go. If I wasn't a work, I'd watch it (presuming it's on TV)
  • OMG!

  • ahhhh Ste! You sweetheart xxx

If she knew how lovely you were, she'd be walking down the aisle with you in her head-the only way that will happen though is if you eventually speak to her....
