it's not scary - it just picks up the information that every browser holds about you.

You're safe he as noooo way of finding ya! Also the above IP you gave is your PC IP, your "internet IP" address can be found here. Also that banner in espresso's posts gives you your "internet IP"

I wouldn't recommend dishing out your IP on a forum though.

Yes only you can see your IP i.e. my IP is displayed in the banner at the moment.Checkout the site where the banner came from for an explanation here

40 miles away is fine. You also have to remember is that chances are this guy doesn't know about these types of websites, so won't even get that info:j
