Been serious moneysaving over the last 6 weeks so its faggots for dinner tonight!! but seriously we have to "eat the freezer" over the next few weeks. My office is on a farm and I have a whole lamb (currently kicking its heels in the field - so to speak - hope there are no veggies around) arriving for my freezer in 3 weeks - really moneysaving buy tho - dead cheap - get the joke!

Bought my daughter some stocking pressies this pm 20% off New Look voucher fromMSE and cardi from Laura Ashley pour moi also 20% off.(wat a cheapskate) Nipped into Woolies - what a sad store but been a basket case for years then to Aldi for their excellent jam and chocolate.

Off to Bath for more retail therapy next week.

Quick rant about Lloyds - can only t/f £10K in one transaction so have to do 4 to move money to Coventry BS (over50's (just) now gone but 6.4% I think)

Principality have finally moved their SVR so now paying 4.5% but I still think I will pay it off. Any thoughts??

Well, it looks nice and cosy in here so hope I can stick around.

Can't tell you how fantastic to get my money back today, as my mortgage is due on Monday and I would have had to go into overdraft to pay it so I'm well pleased! I've shoved some over to a new account at Northern Rock and had already shifted some over to Tescos to get the £60 of points. I can''t decide what ISA to go for yet. I was looking at NatWest but have never been particularly happy with that bank (from past experiences) so may think long and hard. Anyone got any ideas where might be a good place? It was my 2007 ISA which I originally had with ING, and had only transferred across to Icesave a month before everything went wrong! Story of my life...

Anyway, sitting here, nice and relaxed (for once). Hope everyone else is in similar mood tonight
