    zlotty :D I think polish is great language and really nice poeple -years ago when worked england my colleagues went to Lodz for textile machine show and aways had to weave few 1000 metres of knicker elastic to take out and give to the locals -they loved as could not get in those days -late 70s.

    my colleague Jerzy was also really nice guy back then

    Wife lived & worked 10 years in Lodz as secretary at University of Lodz...she confirms textiles was its main industry! She had to do things for professors, I don't ask for too many details...;)

    samll world H -lodz centre of textiles in Poland - I am sure she did not ask for lingerie elastic;)

    ....she says she kept stocks of elastic at home for making clothes, you can immediately tell she's more practical than me ! :D
