    We also have a tracker mortgage. I hadn't been thinking of the pros, just the cons. Many thanks.

    Of course it's a great time to overpay mortgage, e.g. keep the same payment as you previously had or even top it up if you can afford. When rates go back up then you aren't as hard hit cos there is less owing. Anyways, I'm sure there are other forums with better informed people for that chestnut....

    .......agreed. I'm hoping this thread is here purely to provide me with pictures of attractive lady golfers while I am stuck at work on a boring Saturday afternoon. Hehe this thread is sooo gonna get moved soon :)

    .....in my own little way I am. I can confirm that since a pic of Paula Creamer appeared on the thread, my interest rate has increased dramatically!

    It might get chucked into the moneysaving arms.
