I can see I chose a poor name if I wanted to keep my age a secret. Speaking of which, yesterday I opened a second joint account with B&B as their eSaver6 has a higher rate, and was asked again for date we moved here. As it was well over 30 years ago it's not surprising that I put a different date from when I applied for the first eSaver account, and now we've got to send in proof of identity and residence. "I'm not doddery, doddery I'm not"!:o
  • Thank you Tibbledom for going to all that trouble.
I certainly shall be voicing my discontent along those lines ( post has been and gone for today:mad:).All I get told on the phone is that the form will get to me by 4/12 and yet.....
The FSCS Icesave FAQ have a separate number to call for those that fail to get email or paper forms after 4/12.

Not a happy bunny here at all. It's harder when it's someone else's money.

  • Good morning all from a damp and misty Derbyshire.

Might be sad and a bit vouristic but since the Icesave nightmare started I have been looking at the Icelandic daily news site and I feel a sense of comaraderie with their plight ....
