its not filtching honey.... its a grabbit while you can  -
waptext is perfectly within their rights to return something they did not want-
    -
im all for giving to charity, but that will be the charity i choose, and how much i choose to give would be upto me
Whatever you want to call it it works out as something for nothing apart from the donation.
You expect DP to not only make up the difference to the £2 and give a pair of gloves and pay the postage etc out of their pocket
And then when it goes wrong you think its ok to contact DP and put a claim in and threaten with a paypal action ...all for £1.76 to a worthy cause :rolleyes2
Perhaps those with orders pending that are not going to receive them will thank people like waptext for bringing it to their attention !!!
    All because of £1.76 !!!
    Pathetic !
It's not just about the money

-why? waptext added an item to their basket and then it dissapeared whilst paying didn't it?-

not usually how a shop sells things i think

    I have no idea...im laughing at the threat of 'Paypal action' against Dorothy Perkins because they didn't give waptext a free 15 quid pair of gloves only;

!!!!!! , i've asked for a refund , doubt it'l go as far as a paypal claim , the gloves dissapeared from my basket also i closed the page X i never pressed continue to complete the sale , somewhere in the middle of my order the gloves must have ran out of stock , the problem is they said by auto email they would get back to me in 72 hours , !!!!!! paypal have a significantly not as described refund policy anyway..

-paypal will take no action against dp - they will only refund money for goods not as described, so if waptext paid beleiving he/she was going to receive a pair of gloves, don't matter how much for then didn't , he/she has a right to a refund - no?

I ordered last time round and just got a dispatched email :D
Love is the answer. At least for most of the questions in my heart,
Like why are we here? And where do we go?And how come it's so hard?
It's not always easy,And sometimes life can be deceiving,
I'll tell you one thing, its always better when we're together

My order (placed when this thread was just 1 or 2 pages!) has just changed to despatched :D Thought it might be because I already had an account with them?

I called it "filtching" you called it a "grabbit"
The idea of a grabbit is that you buy something at a bargain price whilst its on offer or due to a pricing error etc.
Sometimes it works sometimes it doesn't as you no doubt know.
In this case for waptext it didn't work.
The product ordered was a charity donation which receives a token of the donation like when you make a donation to the British Legion you get a poppy. What would you do if you dropped 20p in the collection box and didn't get a poppy, are you going to grab it off him and shake the tin to get your 20p back ????
    I suppose you would !
