Hi - just want to wish Miss Ruby a very happy birthday!
Have worked hard all day, had tea and a bath and I am really cream-crackered. Have only read the last couple of posts and my eyes are closing so (((hugs))) to all for now and I'll catch up tomorrow.

evening!
have skimmed the thread but am so tired it hasn't sunk in really.
Went to see lesley, she was ok but very confused - talking nonsense and seeing things that weren't there one minute but perfectly fine the next.
The fluid has gone from her lungs but still awaiting test results from the lab - they are 'growing' something apparently. Plans are afoot to get her home, she is having a special bed delivered on monday to go in her lounge. I gave her a big hug and kiss.
DH and I are having a weekend away - have had stern words with the boys as we are leaving them 'home alone' one is 16 the other almost 19. Mum will be popping round to keep an eye on them.
We are stopping in Ironbridge and visiting telford.
hope you all have a good weekend!
Take care xxxDo what you love :happyhear0 -
Hi everyone, bloody freezing up in bonny scotland today!
i made chicken rice for supper, with thigh rather than breast as it's cheaper and nobody's any the wiser when it's in with rice.glad it's friday, bit of chilling out time. my friend is giving me a sewing machine next week sometime, she doesn't use it and said she'd rather i was getting the good of it than it lying in her cupboard. so am totally chuffed. there'll be no stopping me! :j cat's still miserable, and getting more bad tempered by the day! he shredded all my arm and hand the other night so i'm covered in scratches. it's only cos he's poorly. he's usually so loving. i'm still annoyed that my pickled bums were such a disaster, just don't know what i'm doing wrong.
well hope everyone is fine, and happy birthday to ruby! i remember when i was fourteen. lol. xxxUnfortunately,
MONEY makes the world go round.
