One less day in the office 'til Christmas - little else to report on the MSE front.

Off to Edinburgh tomorrow, so won't be updating again until the weekend :)

    I'm baaaaack :)

Exhausted after two nights of four hour sleeps, noisy students, prison cell style room and nothing but finger buffets!

Will update properly in the morning.

Well, that was a somewhat crazy few days, of lectures, group exercises and trying to hide from the worst weather I'd ever seen in Edinburgh :(

We landed in 60 mph winds and the plane was rocking so badly that it seemed like the engines were outside the window (as opposed to under it) for the last half hour of the flight. I suppose I should have been terrified - as it was I was just scared witless!

The food over the retreat was ok, the sleep was awful (now I remember why I only stayed in halls for six months), but at least I got a chance to talk to lots of people I never knew before - which is a triumph for me as I'm really bad at that sort of thing.

Got a nice relaxing weekend with tasty cookery and some gentle Christmas shopping planned now :)

Have been out for a spot of Christmas shopping.

Purchased chocolates and some stocking fillers for my GF, a pair of GAP jeans (30% off, yay!) for my little brother and the Twilight DVD (bleugh!) for my big brother's fianc!e.

Off to start planning dinner already - slow cooked lamb shanks with orange, olives, white wine and rosemary.

    Poor weather today :(

I will mostly be hiding from the rain, doing housework and may pop out to Boots and to buy a new brolly!

Payday tomorrow - will be paying for flights etc. for my brother's stag do next year, paying off the remaining £200 I owe my GF and will also be ordering all of my remaining Christmas presents. Gulp - I'm gonna be busy :D

    Morning Ed.

I am suffering this morning. I decided it was a wise idea to drink two bottles of red and go to bed at 5am

When I was woken up by DD at 7am I realised it wasn't one of my best moves :rotfl:
