That has ruined my evening something fierce.

Aiming for a LSD today (less than £2.50).
Meeting my dad for dinner tomorrow and then my little sister is visiting us over the weekend, which will no doubt prove expensiveIt's cool that she wants to visit, but Fri-Mon seems quite long considering she's not wanted to visit us in the previous 18mths we've been here!
Rolled some small change towards my ISA and my sealed jar will be getting a royal feed tonight. £2 challenges are cool, but it's just a little annoying when you get pretty much all of your change from £10 in them!0 -
I have two 'sealed jars', neither of which is truly sealed, but both of which are fantastic aides du saving.
The first is a re-used empty can of energy drink which I used to take to the gym before I realised the madness of paying £53 a month for gym membership which was costing me c. £10 a visit and before the equally sobering realisation that those £10 gym visits were costing me c. £635 a year! I've kept the tin of a reminder that a) gyms are expensive and b) even the humblest container can change your lot.
The second 'jar' is my wonderful ATM savings bank (gifted to me by my GF last Christmas who knows of my love of savings and faux ATMs which make 'bo-iiing!' noises when you insert money into them :rotfl:
It's very cool as it offers features such as totals/targets and will also tell me the time if needed.
Was very pleased to pay in my change this evening only to be told that I'd reached my first change target towards a debt free 2010 (£40). Only another £610 worth of loose change and 13 of my regular monthly £150 payments to go....0 -

Unfortunately you can't cancel a payment that's already left the account. Just hoping that it comes back to me once it works its way through the system..
No sign of it yet!0 -
Little sister just went home, after what seemed to be a pretty enjoyable three days. We managed to pack in a river boat trip, a wander around Greenwich, lots of pizza and wine, Home Alone 2, a day of shopping and good chats
Tired now - time to catch up with the washing!
Still no sign of my missing 'millions' - worried but hopeful.0
