Flying visit this morning as have to get out in 10 minutes to get car to garage and in to work! No plans for today except to get through it!
Tomorrow I am going away for 5 days - not sure if there'll be internet access :eek:. But will hopefully get a chance to post before I go. Hope everyone is having a more relaxing time!

Briefly here in between meetings. Good day workwise. Rather scary moneywise. Still waiting for news about the car. Workmen have been sorting out our drains and gutters and we have a roof problem with some tiles not properly fitted. Need those sorting (know these guys so believe it really needs doing).

And another car tax at the end of the month.....

Might just end up back where we were in July.... :mad:

Huge hugs mizmir! this is not what you need at the moment, but if you are planning on renting out this house then knowing it is structurally sound is good.

oh miz hunny big squishy hugs for you ...right you knew this was coming up so at least you had a bit of warning ...now you know you will get it paid it might put things back a wee bit but you will pay it off and you will have a working car and a roof that no longer has issues so you will be up ....hope the cold is a bit better for you

Thanks all. Final drop by before I go to bed - leaving tomorrow. Might get online while away but not relying on it. Car could have been worse - couple of tyres and a seat belt catch. Don't know how much yet - suspect a few hundred by the time the test and a service is added on but not a disaster. Roof... mmm.... tiles seem to have shifted with the weather so we are going to see if we can claim it on the house insurance. Fingers crossed. Otherwise it is just a case of keeping things as cut back as I can and not panicking! Talk to you all next week.
