Right - time to take stock a bit before getting on with the day. These were the things I needed to get done this week (before Monday):
    • [STRIKE]Write up those reports for external work that should bring in £250 extra.[/STRIKE] Have done 2 of 3 - will finish the last tomorrow.
    • Book car in for MOT Not yet - will phone as soon as I get off here!
    • Check car insurance deals - both cars due for renewal this month - ouch! Absolute MUST today - one runs out Monday!
    • Sort out deposit and confirmation for dog sitter booking Done - one thing at least!
    • Start filing and sorting out my tax return for the accountant A job for tomorrow - get the paper work sorted then on Monday call the accountant.
    • [STRIKE]Follow up a couple of training clients[/STRIKE] DONE - and have some more appointments (including one this afternoon).
    So to do today:
    • See dog training client - will take most of the afternoon as a bit of travelling but will bring in about £70 after expenses
    • Book MOT
    • Check car insurance
    • Check online bankng
    To do tomorrow:
    • Sort out tax paperwork
    • Finish report and get expenses claim in
There will be things to add no doubt!

Bet you feel so much better now you've made your mind up.Don't envy you doing paperwork for the accountant.I hate that job.
Your list is coming along nicely and the dog training is at least helping towards the end goal.So all looks good.

Thanks guys. It has been a bit of a hectic day but have made some progress.
    • [STRIKE]Write up those reports for external work that should bring in £250 extra.[/STRIKE] Have done 2 of 3 - will finish the last tomorrow.
    • Book car in for MOT Not yet - will phone as soon as I get off here! Tried - but garage closed - one for Monday!
    • [STRIKE]Check car insurance deals - both cars due for renewal this month - ouch! [/STRIKE]Absolute MUST today - one runs out Monday! Have checked and seems certain can get better than current renewal quote. Am going to go through all the paperwork tomorrow to be sure and get the best one.
    • [STRIKE]Sort out deposit and confirmation for dog sitter booking [/STRIKE]Done - one thing at least!
    • Start filing and sorting out my tax return for the accountant A job for tomorrow - get the paper work sorted then on Monday call the accountant.
    • [STRIKE]Follow up a couple of training clients[/STRIKE] DONE - and have some more appointments (including one this afternoon).
    And today's:
    • [STRIKE]See dog training client - will take most of the afternoon as a bit of travelling but will bring in about £70 after expenses[/STRIKE] Done - went well - and paid for a fortnight's shopping on way home!
    • [STRIKE]Book MOT[/STRIKE] Tried!
    • [STRIKE]Check car insurance[/STRIKE] Checked and need to go through a few options carefully tomorrow.
    • [STRIKE]Check online bankng[/STRIKE]Done - all quiet - but will be tight this month.
So that leaves me three things for tomorrow:
    • Finalise insurance
    • Sort out tax paperwork
    • Finish final report
    better get an early night!

:j:j:j Finally sorted the car insurance on both cars. Using Martin's guide I have saved £327 over the two policies plus hopefully have £90 coming in cashback!! And the policies are better than I had before!

    I love MSE! :D

Thanks taxi - and hi karma!

I was amazed by the car insurance thing - effectively worked out over £200 per policy and for a better policy - added business use and a replacement vehicle and personal accident. Didn't have those on the previous one! Shows it is worth spending a little time doing these things. I am now saving money monthly as well as I have paid both directly from money put aside in the ISA. This all feels soooo good. :D

Next job for today was the final report - but I think I will put dinner in first!
