Helloooo!!! Just catching up - hope you are ok and that your trip wasn't difficult in any way! Think am coming down with a cold or something - head achey, stuffed up, throat raw. Hope it doesn't take hold - can't afford to be ill! Anyway - am curled up with a hot water bottle and a dog trying to knock it on the head.
Not a great day debt wise - rather more on the expenses card than anticipated. Most will be coming back but some not until January or February and in the meantime we need to pay it. And we'll need to pay the tax bill too. And my car has its MOT tomorrow which could be very painful. Have a feeling may not come out of all that on top. But will keep plodding on.0 -

Thanks both. el I think we have some of that in the cupboard so will dg it out - thanks for the reminder.
Am trying not to worry too much about the bad stuff. Worst that will happen is debt will go up and there will be more to pay off next year (am determined to be debt free by the end of 2009!). We have about £1.5K in the isa which was my emergency fund/tax fund - hopefully it will at least cover that and the expenses we'll manage out of salary (with no debt repayment over the minimums) with some stretching - so all that will go on the cards is the car. Just hope it is not too much!0 -
It always seems to happen like that. I am doing a Rudolph impression at the moment but other than a stuffy nose feel quite well..i think i needed to get a cold as such because i have had a bit of a sinus problem and the pain has gone..weird huh?
The expenses should cover a bit for you when they come back..But i suppose you would still have to provide expense coverage for those two months..Blackadder: Am I jumping the gun, Baldrick, or are the words 'I have a cunning plan' marching with ill-deserved confidence in the direction of this conversation?
Still lurking around with a hope of some salvation:cool:0 -
Hope you feel better soon. It's a pain in the butt when everything comes together and I think this time of year is a bit stagnant for a lot of people. It's only a blip and you'll soon get back to overpaying loads. It's always swings and roundabouts but will all be paid off by the end of the year.0
