i would still do another test in a week or twos time if i were you. with the baby i'm carrying at the moment, i had 2 tests, both with faint lines (a sign of early pregnancy) and bleeding. When i went to the docs, the test he did came back negative, however, after another few weeks i still didnt feel right and was having the usual pregnancy symptoms (sore breasts, acne, etc), so i did another 2 tests which both came back positive. This time the test the family planning clinic did came back positive too. let us know how u get on and good luck.xxxI love my boys! William born 08/01/08 and andrew born 22/2/09.0

This happend to me I bleed about one week after I was due to have my period (so 5 weeks since last period) I went to see the doctor and he told me it was an implant bleed (when the egg attaches to the wall of the uterus) I have had three children now and this has happened with each pregnancy.
I would also like to say that you should bare in mind that sometimes in early pregnancy you may have a result come back negative as it couldnt pick up on enough oestrogen/progesterone (this is what the test pick up on to know you are pregnant) so it may be worth leaving it a week or so and test again.
Also I used to work at the hospital and I know that the hospital I worked at pregnacy tests didnt pick up on oestrogen/progesterone as easily as generic ones (from supermarkets etc) diferent brands etc need diferent strenghts/levals some of the test can pick up on small amounts others larger amounts.
I got positive result from tescos tests at 5 weeks and negative from doc at 7 weeks however I was pregnant and the 1st test was correct.
Good luckMoney doesn't grow on trees,:j I wish it did!0
