Hi Molly, my reconsideration only took a month even though I was quoted 11 weeks the same as you, I guess that must be a worst case senario.

Sorry to hear of your little girl's kyphosis and scoliosis, which I also suffer. I am still a 'tumbler' and my handbag often takes to the air! Makes me appear clumsy but we do have one leg shorter than the other. hey ho
I doubt you will get DLA with a child so young, but it is early days and she may need help in the future.

I am 51 BTW and worked full time (manual job) up until being 40 when I was forced through pain to retire due to ill health. I had correction when I was 17.
The treatment has improved so much since I was a child but I know how distressing it all can be.
Keep your chin up, and make sure you write every question down you think of, even if it sounds trivial. Believe me, you will forget once you get in front of the Consultant. Just to reiterate what an earlier poster wrote.
