Job Interview with DWP

Well i really don't understand, surely it would be easier giving the people lower down the merit list 'waiting list' letters? So they don't have loads of angry and frustrated people phoning them up all the time, demanding to know where their jobs are?! Straaaaaaaaaaaaaange!

I don't understand why some people get waiting list letters, and some don't, when obviously they are on a list.

Anyway, fed up of it all.

I am positive somebody on work experinece somewhere came up with this scheme. Beurocracy is what made nazi Germany so efficient...

Hi Jess, just to let you know my CRB cert came this morning. It came with a letter from the DWP, is this right because I got a forwarding address at the interview? My work was contacted earlier in the week. Just my reference now but one is away for a while now so got a feeling I'm gonna be held up by that.

Best give DWP a ring regarding that Certificate. Like you, they gave me a forwarding address just in case it came to me by mistake, but obviously yours has come from DWP !! However, there have been some other posters on here received the certificate from DWP - so who knows

Try not to get the stroppy woman I got yesterday when I rang - good customer service - i think not:rotfl::rotfl:

I would feel very lucky getting a start date in the next ten years knowing this system! If you can even call it that! I am still applying for other jobs but no one else seems to want me

I hope that we ALL get start dates soon!! Then we can start a thread going 'YEEEEEEEY. Finally... the DWP has given me a start date! It's a miracle!'

Funny,I just got the post delivered, and there's a letter with a survey for JCP asking me to comment on their service.

Think I might have to mention the DWP employment fiasco :rotfl::rotfl:

Just rang them, got a very nice man so that was a good start:rotfl:

The CRB cert that was sent to me was correct and apparently all my checks have cleared and I should be contacted soon! He couldn't tell me where, he said it'll be discussed with me when I am contacted. He did say there were 350 posts and they are eager to get them filled so fingers crossed.
