I actually came onto this thread to say that I have just been called to another interview in Leeds - next Monday at the Metropole (AO role). Not sure if you applied for those Katie_kt.

I might not go as I have already been successful for an EO post and 2 AO posts but I will ring them to find out if there is any news regarding start dates. I don't want to burn my bridges.

What was the closing date for the Leeds vacancies? I applied around the 9th August, which was very close to the closing date for the one I applied for, but not heard anything as yet.

I was looking at this site last week but it seems to send you off to a lot of unrelated jobs.
Anyone know if it's possible to apply direct for an EO appointment in a specific area?

Hi, I applied for a position on the 12th August but have not heard anything back yet. How long does it usually take until you hear about your application. Does anyone know if there is a way to find out about your application progress as there is no phone number on their website.

Finally, the deadline date for the position I applied for was 12th August and I sent my application at 11.00pm in that day, do you think it was too late even though I applied by the deadline?

I think they were 10th or 11th August but I have applied for so many I have lost where I am with them.

Well, one of the jobs on there was for EOs nationwide. Otherwise, just check back there every day and you will see the jobs as they come. You can see there are jobs in the North West but not quite your area at present.

It's less than a week after you applied, give it at least another week or two before you start to worry. I think I applied on the last day, late in the evening and got a test login sent to me about a week later(after the online test deadline according to the application details!). You should be fine.

I think the closing date was 10th August. I applied around the same time as you and got the phone call today inviting me to the tests/interview next Monday.
The South Yorkshire one I did was an online test, then the interview a few weeks later. But the West Yorkshire ones are on the same day. Does anyone know if these are for the same position as they are both AO's but I know some AO's work behind the scenes and some in an actual job centre?
