Have you noticed the competancy levels have decreased since the last round of applications?
Everything was at level 2 for my interview, except 'Building Constructive Working Relationships', which was at level 1.
Best of luck to you; they will only ask four questions, based directly on the competancies.
Think of some interesting and truthful examples, and make sure it's all 'I' and not 'we'!

Hello.
I have applied for a Executive officer/Band c position in Bristol.
It said that the numeracy and literacy and interview process were due to comence on the 30 March until the 22 April. The position closed on the 23rd of march and I applied on the 22nd.
I haven't heard anything, and judgeing from peoples responces on here, people do recieve their conformations pretty quickly, should I assume I havent got the job? Or should I just be patient?
Any help would be great
Thanks x x x0 -

Hi Katy Do you mean you haven't had a confirmation date for an interview yet? Mine took about a week to arrive in the post after I applied online.0 -
Yes, havent heard anything for the tests? I wonder if they let you know reguardless of if you have made it through the sifts or not?
A week, were your tests pretty soon after the closing date?0 -

I'd like to think a government dept would let people know if they had passed the sift but you never can tell. Can't remember exactly but I think my tests were about a week after the closing date. Just got a letter from them today, nearly three weeks later,to say I'd passed numeracy/literacy tests but not a mention of anything about a job. Don't know what's happening as they said I'd know in 2 to 3 weeks and it's almost 3 weeks up now.0 -

Katy Love,
Just be patient - It does take a while for them to process all the applications and they have a lot of workload as it is!
I have also applied for the EO on the same date as you on 22nd March but different area and havent heard anything yet - It'll call them next week because its not 30th March yet and give em a call!
They recently advertised for EO's all around the UK in so many places - i had to keep scrolling down the page! lol but yeah they must have a lot of work to do imagine sending out letters, arranging for tests etc
Give it a week or two and if you still aint heard anything - give them a call and find out what happened!
Best of luck0 -

I applied for the same position in a different geographical area but with the same closing date. I received a letter today inviting me to the next stage - literacy & numeracy tests - on 1st April.0 -
