Do boots then resell these returned products?

I am unhappy at the thought that I might be buying body lotion or any other product that someone else had returned.
For instance the TD body lotion has just a screw top on the bottle, anyone could have tampered with the contents.

Agree with OP's I could not be bothered to return and also it seems dishonest.

I don't know if they do resell them or not.

I have taken up the issue of security seals on own boots products. And they said they would pass it on to No7 people  I did ask about all there products. I have noticed a few seals on some of the No7 Face cream.

But most of the Boots reply was rather wibble. As they went on about stuff I had not even asked. All i wanted to know where they going to put security seals on all boxed and unboxed face creams and potions.

I now take the box/tube etc from the back now as there people are more likely to test the front ones.

Now you know why I am not keen on keeping stuff for too long. just in case someone has had there mitts in it already.

Do they put all TD and DR stuff all together or do they separate the face masks etc.

In our Boots all the Danielle Ryman is on a stand together.

The Time Delay has its own area on the stand, but the hand cream has been duplicated into the handcream bit as well. (And then sold out...)

Our reduced DR stuff stayed in its own bit on the shelf, but others have said they've picked up reduced stuff from the general sale shelves.

  • I am off to Orchard House tomorrow to give them my TD/DR freebies which I have collected in the last 3 weeks. Nan died 23 days ago and they were so kind and considerate to her that I think it's just nice to say thanks and give them stuff for their fundraising raffles and for the old people to use too.

Just hope that when I go there I don't burst into tears as I'm feeling quite emotional still.
;) I am the only Voucher Queen in my village LOL ;)
  • DR hand cream is fantastic as is the hand mask turns your hands a terra cotta colour for a while but soon fades. In Aberdeen Boots DR products are still on BOGOF so using the vouchers two hand creams which were £18 are now only £4 a real bargain

    Welsh-Dragon,

All the best tomorrow and think that yours is a kind gesture and sure they will be very grateful.

    Take care.

Big hugs to you Welsh-Dragon, I hope that tomorrow isn't too difficult for you. I think it's very generous and good-hearted of you to think of others when you're going through such a painful time right now.
  • tryed to get some of the aroma range that were marked down and when i got to the till the refused me!!
i handed them a clensing td bottle and the coupon and the sa made me feel like a cheepo!!
he said i wasnt spending anything and i shouldnt use the vouchers for things that are under £5 because people have been misuseing the promotion (in front of the whole que!!)
i understand if people are buying a lode of them like someone that got over 18 items on this web as thats greedy but this was my first and only item and i think a lot of the people who know about this are rewining it for the rest of us by being greedy so they stop stocking it until the 1st of feb.
Thanks every1 for making this website what it is, its helped me alot in the past!
  • Hi

For anyone in the Nottingham area if you go to Boots at Bulwell they seem to have a few items in the TD range for under £5.00 I think it was the exfoliating cream and was with the other TD range.
Also they had on the reduced shelf some TD facial pamper kits reduced to £5.00 so obviously free with voucher.
I think there were about 4 or 5 left but they may limit you to 1 or 2 vouchers depending on who serves you.......talking from experience.

    Good luck.
