BUT, I'm starting to feel more like myself now, I treated myself to some cosmetics this week, I have had my hair done and I have some nice items to pamper myself with from the TD/DR and EA ranges. I found out today that I have passed my Management course at Cardiff Uni with flying colours - not bad for a part-time working mum of 4 kids. The start of 2006 has been terrible but I'm hoping it will get alot better.

It's good to have something (else) to focus on during the bad times, and taking an interest in your appearance is very therapeutic. And Therapy on bogof, or reduced with vouchers is absolutely the best sort!

(Well done for passing the course :T )

  • Congratulations on your exam results Welsh dragon! and thanks for all your posts- I never would have got the EA range without your help!

Reading through all the posts on here, I can't believe how badly some Boots staff treat their customers. Good on those of you who have complained and had apologies, it's the least you deserve.

he said i wasnt spending anything and i shouldnt use the vouchers for things that are under £5 because people have been misuseing the promotion (in front of the whole que!!)
i understand if people are buying a lode of them like someone that got over 18 items on this web as thats greedy but this was my first and only item and i think a lot of the people who know about this are rewining it for the rest of us by being greedy so they stop stocking it until the 1st of feb.

I think a letter to the charman is in order here! How downright rude!

I had similar in Tesco and wrote to the chirman and got a £20 voucher and an apology.

I had a big moan to Boots head office last year about something (can't even remember what now!) and they put £20 of points on my advantage card, it's always worth complaining if there's a problem.

No luck at all in Wrexham! I have never even seen the TD wipes or anything under£5.50 in any of the Two stores that we have.. you should be able to get some TD hand cream if you have a voucher.. be careful with the leaflets they have just put out cos they haven't got TD included in them!! if you go to the boots by sainsbury's there should be DR stuff on BOFOF, I got two blemish vanishing gels for £3..(normally £8.00 each but BOGOF and then Minus £5.. have a good scout round..Not much going on in the EA range either.. good luck, if you find anything TEXT ME ASAP..LOL- only joking.. it makes you crazy doesn't it?

  • In boots today spent just over £9.00 but saved £16 using haircare £3 Voucher & £5.00
td/ dr voucher. dr was on byone get one free.

sales assistant marked vouchers with amounts spent is this usual practice or a way of head office checking on customers use of vouchers.

This was my second visit to boots in three weeks, I have not abused the voucher system.
  • Wednesday I found two AE miniature body cream reduced to £1 and tried to use two of the £1 off vouchers. SA couldn't get them to work and called one of the managers. Bless 'em they tried for a good 5 mins to use the vouchers and get them me for free. Eventually they found a way. Went back to today with 3 more vouchers but sadly couldn't find anything. Never mind mum well please with her body cream pressies.

Nothing in Bangor, N. Wales under £5. The shelf has been restocked with No7 stock, and they look suspiciously like the old Time Delay stock. Maybe this is to confuse newbie MoneySavers into getting the wrong things and having to pay for them.

Hostertlady - anything in Wrexham? Hoping to get some more face wipes and/or hand cream this weekend.

I've never seen any TD under £5.50 in Bangor :(. Going tomorrow to use my £3 haircare and £5 No7 voucher. x
