Went into our small Boots on Weds after reading this thread. Picked up about 5 leaflets but felt like a shoplifter doing so.....not many TD products on the shelf. Sent my daughter to the till with face wipes and one voucher and I got the exfoliator and another voucher (after sending daughter out of the shop). I did buy a couple of other bits too tho' as I felt so guilty. The SA did not look happy serving my daughter as she had nothing to pay at all, but she did say 'have a nice day' thru gritted teeth.
I love the products but I really do feel guilty at getting them for free, cant you just tell I'm new to this game :)
    ;) debt free...yippee
  • I went to get an eye cream for my mum to go on holiday with, from the Bicester Boots. The lady there said the voucher was only meant for the Daniele Ryman time delay not the boots one. I pointed out that friends had got one and I was copying. She put it through doubtfully and it worked of couse, so she just shrugged.

Is the Daniele Rhyman stuff a time delay product as well out of curiosity?

There were loads of brochures, (perhaps because that store won't let anyone use them...) I took some and left them on the school reception desk for all the mums to get a pampering.

No they are two separate ranges. It would have been helpful if there had been a comma between the two words. However, the picture does show the two ranges.

    Todays update

Boots-Sudbury-lots of leaflets-shelves were looking very bare though

I took 4 TD items to checkout Stroppy SA looked at them and said
"these are only meant to be one per customer"
it says one per transaction on the back I say
"my Manager is not happy cos we're running out of stock, I'll put them through this time though"

Oh no is this the start of things to come, lucky I've stocked up!Think I'll try and stick to larger stores in future.

She said that Boots bosses are fuming as the words "only ONE per customer" was omitted from the voucher and someone has made a HUGE mistake.

Ha being Ha. What a bunch a wallys is all I can. But even so how could you police one per customer anyway. As we are all in and out all the time. I would do what I am doing now. Going in every few days and picking up one item at a time. Also should have put a min spend on it as well of say £5 that way we could only get the hand cream for free.

As with some of my transcations have been made with no other items so did not use my AD card and others I have.

So you know now don't use advantage card. As they will ban you. LOL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Sutton Coldfield store completely out of leaflets, with a few "freebie" items left. Couldn't see any DR stuff.

Was really annoyed though - and this is obviously from a man's point of view. I decided to get the Day Moisturiser with the voucher for £4 (instead of the normal £9). Only problem is it's got "light-reflecting particles" - or glitter as I call it :D - in it so I'll look like a drag queen if I use it! :D That's going back tomorrow.

Can anyone tell me if the Firming Day Moisturiser (sells for £10.50) has these stupid glitter particles in it too?

Am loving the Time Delay range (I've used about 10 of the vouchers so far) although it's perfumed. I think I'll be buying that Clarifying Exfoliator even at full price. (Although I've still got 8 Cucumber Facial Washes from the infamous points !!!!-up on that range - happy days!)

Wish Boots would be as generous (or as naive) on the Fragrance counter. One day... ;)
