Free time delay products in boots!!!

hehe boots..have used vouchers to get nearly £500 worth of time delay products this week for nothing. i just go to the till with one of each item thats under priced and ask them to ring them up seperately..most staff are fine about it..the odd one that moans,i just tell them that some of there staff are stripping the shelves too and to tell them first and, that shuts them up.incase you thinx im being a bit greedy..i will only be using them as prezzies or gifts to friends,and my wife..who needs all the help she can get..she used to look like 93...its really working she looks like 92 now....i reckon we should nominate this as post of the year,not post of the month..big thanx xxx,

The idea that people are getting hundreds of items is annoying. I can't get any in my local Boots, it's all been stripped bare and I just want to use nice skincare that I can't afford to buy normally. I am a student on a really tight budget and it's nice to have a few expensive things to use rather than Tesco value face wash.

But that's just my 2p.

Boots have made an offer, and it contains a mistake. That is their fault, not ours. No-one has a right to stop other people taking advantage of this offer. If someone wants to spend all their time getting hundreds of Time Delay products then let them. It doesn't matter whether you are a poor student orsomeone who just wants to get things for their school fair. You CANNOT and SHOULD NOT want to stop other people using this offer. Its a free market and a free for all, and anyone who gets some products for free is lucky. There is no god-given right to claim this offer.

Some people have also said that taking advantage so much now means they won't do similar offers in the future. Of course they won't, and thats regardless of how much we take advantage now, because it allows people products for free! No business can survive doing that!

So just enjoy their mistake. If you go to Boots and get some things then enjoy them. If you don't please don't come on here and criticise others; just remember that you were trying to take advantage as well!

im on a really tight budget too, im on benefits and go to uni part-time which costs more than just being on benefits, i run my own home and dont get any help from anyone so if i wanna stock up on millions of freebies so my skin is nice for a bit i dont see the problem!!!!!

im not gonna sell them on, i shared vouchers and products out among my friends and family and ive probly got about 50-odd things left from myself at the end, do i feel bad? no!

oh, and boots etc. will always have loss leaders, 3for2, advantage points or otherwise in our lovely democracy we have we'd go elsewhere wouldnt we? regardless of how many time delay is taken in this very short month in one year of boots' trading they will still hand out vouchers and special offers coz otherwise we would shop there at all!

oh, and btw people who go in and get freebies usual;ly get dragged in by things at the till or whtever too, i.e. oh im thirsty lets get a drink or oh while im here ill stock up on shampoo, or whatever.

to be honest if it come to me or boots to care about then yes i am me, me, me! ever since i was homeless that who had to come first otherwise id have starved to detah and never got anywhere to live

oh and funnily enough boots never came to my aid, wierd huh?!

i dont think that the free td products people have gotten will:
(a) bring down our economy
(b) end all vouchers/ 3for2's or other special offers in boots for ever and ever
(c) make boots go bust
(d) ruin the world forever

but if any of the above do happen, then you can all feel free tocome round to my house and poke me with sticks, ok?!

freebie_junkie and mab007, completely agree. The offer has been going on for a while now, if Boots had a problem with the offer wouldn't they take all products and leaflets off the shelf and only honour those already taken?
