 They're turning me away from boots now saying offer IS one per person and said point blank to my face that I had been taking the few I got in the past few days to another store and getting a full refund for them. They said I'm not allowed to use ANY vouchers EVER again on this promotion- and this from the store manager! She was very rude and I am going to complain to customer services about the way she treated me, I felt like a criminal for using a few coupons within their t&c's. Funny though, yesterday she said I could only purchase one time delay item per day due to the bit on the coupon saying they can't be used retrospectively. She thought that meant one after the other (sep transactions)! Might go in there armed with dictionary and teach her a lesson. An English lesson. Anyone got the number for cust services? Ta.

Must admit I have not tried to get several of these one after the other - in fact yesterday I went in 3 different boots stores, and this morning got 2 from different till points at the meadowhall store.
My husband is having a laugh at me for ripping boots off - they are ripping themselves off is my arguament. :rotfl:

I have done that, gone to different tills after leaving the building and coming back in after 20 mins. And got husband to try it out first with the hand cream :rotfl: chicken thats me. In total we have had about 12 products paying £7 in total.

Boots have done it to themselves and they have no-one to blame but themselves. And the only way around it was to make people use a AD card, then it could be one voucher per AD card. I have made serveral purchases and used my card because of getting loads of points. And I have stuffed the TD products amongst other items so not to draw attention to what I am doing.

Yesterday husband spent £15 in Boots on various products and that included a No7 voucher, as well as a TD voucher but the product was £10 to start with. And he used my card as well.

This morning I went in to buy something on Bogof and popped some wipes in my basket and used a voucher but did not use my AD card as it would have added a whole 3p to my total. Not worth it.

But then on other forums people are happy to boast about the 100 + products for free and that they are going to be selling them at car boot sales. That to me is beyond selfish.

I think some people are just sad - I think its ok to get a handful of bargins as shops like Boots make enough from selling alot of items over priced, but those people that have nothing else to do but get 100's of items perhaps need to go out and find a job!!!
  • thats a bit unfair- boots take so much money each day and i have put quite a bit throigh their till sin my life time so im on the side of the freebie grabbers get as many as you can!

oh and the comment about getting a job bit me on the ar*e a bit, coz i cant.

  • p.s. who are these people being unfair to? a big business like boots? oh boo hoo for boots!

the idea behind so many of the thing son this site is to pull one over on big business, e.g. credit card stoozing, is that bad too?!

Boots are going to be losing not just a few hundred but thousands and thousands of pounds. So in turn what do Boots do, Oh yes that is right raise there prices so there are no more good deals to be had. And then everyone will be coming out the wood work moaning that Boots don't have good offers any more.

I am well aware of what this site is about. But to me there is a huge difference between getting a few free items for yourself and family to use, to getting hundreds and selling them on.

We all like a bargain and I have comfort level as to where things sit with me rather like the Tescos R&R policy. I don't go out of my way to look for over prices like some people just to get it to free. Again people go Tescos can afford to take the hit as they earn billions wonder why is that because people shop there.

Some of the boards on this forum show how selfish and money grabbing people can be. Like the Argos or homebase or who ever it was telly where it was on site for 1p and they where expecting to get it for that price and the cried we are going to sue because you did not sell it to us at that price. What did you expect.

Again that shows how little in society in general we only care about ourselves and no one else and how selfish some people can be. And that it all about want, want, want and me, me , me and nothing else.

Right I get off my soapbox now.

And I also sure that Martin would not condon the getting of hundreds and hundreds of items for free either to sell on.

But hey you do what you feel comfortable with and I will do mine. Sounds fair to me.
