Does anyone know if it is legal for the boots manager to say I can't have any more time delay products free with the vouchers, as I have already had 2/3? It isn't part of the t&c's of the voucher it's just her being an overzealous/ uptight manager so isn't she in effect imposing her own terms &condition's off the hip and overriding the conditions set by boots itself??
Any legal bod's out there who know whether she is within her rights?
P.S She also said she had been told that I took what I bagged in the days before to another store and got a full refund for them, accusing me in front of other customers and embarrasing me in front of the whole que!! I'm now not allowed to use coupons in that store. Can she get away with this???

If that has been me Fsmlsn, I would have been furious!
I would have demanded to ring Boots customer care right there in the store. They cannot treat you like that, what a nerve!Stopped smoking Jan 2007 after 23 years!Cigarettes NOT smoked = 240,945Smoke free days = 11 Years :TCash saved so far = £125,45,110 -

Am in Oxford. So maybe it's all the other students who want freebies as well!
No hard feelings to anyone on the board, I have shared this freebie out and given vouchers to others as well. :rotfl:0 -

Next to the Trafford Centre there is another one on Trafford Retail Park and their shelves were brimming when I went in today. Also popped into the Trafford Centre and one of their employee's was actually pointing out the voucher to customers and showing them to the shelves personally, shame they were empty!"And crawling on the planet's face,

ta, B..
If I were you, find out the name of her boss (regional manager, I presume). Phone up another local Boots and say you'd like to write a letter of praise (or some such rubbish) to the regional manager and can you have their address please.
Then just write a letter to this person saying how embarrassed, distressed and upset you were. Ask what the company's definition of good customer services is and whether it was maintained when the manager dealt with you.
Mention the manager adding her own ad hoc conditions, but I wouldn't mention "is this legal" as that has the connotation of "I'm gonna sue you" or "I'm after compo!".
To redress the balance, they may indeed send you a goodwill payment or gift if you address your point politely and reasonably.
Best of luck
