Went into Bulwell Boots near closing time yesterday (January 12th) and it was empty. Plenty of leaflets though, must have re-stocked. TD Body lotion and TD face mask were half price so I decided to try using more than one voucher. No luck... went up to a SA who passed me on to another SA, probably more senior.... sour-faced SA implied I was greedy, other people who want to look good will be missing out. I did say I could easily come back another day but she said she'll recognise me. I think anyone trying to use more than one TD voucher at the store might have to go through her :P

I have plenty of leaflets, pm me if you would like a few.

I know exactly who you mean, she served me one one of my visits, all i can say is 'if looks could kill' ! Forgot to say earlier Arnold store has leaflets and TD stock.

Plenty still in Birkenhead Boots, although the cashier did put the hand cream through seperately from my other purchases which I didn't understand the reason for? Will be back in to use the last of my vouchers over the weekend. At least then its the weekend staff and they won't recognise me!

Sorry if this has been covered before, but I'm not very brave when doing the Boots things.
If you get a Time Delay product for £4, can you take just that and your coupon to the till, or is it best to buy another item so that the bill comes to over £5.
    Thanks Carol

Just take your £5 or less product to the till with your voucher and you will pay nothing ! Obviously if you go to the till with goods exceeding £5 they will take £5 off and you pay the difference
  • Plenty of leaflets and quite a bit of stock in Bristol Broadmead Boots. I've managed to get five items over the last two days. It's quite a big store so I just went to different tills. Will probably have another visit today.
  • I live in the south of leicester and the Oadby branch of boots has both leaflets and lots of TD products around £5.

The SA had not seen the coupons before so i had to tell here what to do with it( each product through sepratley with one coupon).

Some of the people in the queue behind me went off to get some coupons and products.

    I love Boots

    I love Freebies

Thank you kindly, but i have loads more, i picked up 20 yesterday, this is after i have already had £80 worth of stuff!!! in my boots, i go to the youngest SA, they couldnt care less how many i hand over, Yesterday i got 8 items, all at once, (well one after another), went at the quitest time of day, so not many people in the cue, also looked in the reduced stuff, got 2 TD products that are worth 10 quid EACH!! reduced to 2 quid each, so handed them 1 voucher for both!!! loving this free stuff!! :T :T
  • Hi, a lot of leaflets left at the Heanor store (Derbyshire) and there did seem to be an amount of product under £5.00.

I also was served by a very unhappy looking woman at Bulwell the other day who left the till twice to seek advice before putting 4 items through as seperate transactions as I had requested.
She had to have the last word saying the manager was off so could not get proper clarification but she did not think it was fair and I was abusing the system.

I did point out that on the leaflet it was one per transaction and not one per customer so she knew I was going to stand my ground.
However, as an earlier post said "if looks could kill".

Lots of brownie points with her indoors although she does seem to think I am alluding to her turning 40 this year giving her Time Delay products!
    ;)

Neither am I Carol! But yesterday I got a load of vouchers and then a free £5 hand cream. I did only get the one though, not brave enough to keep going up :o

Maybe the t&c's do say one per transaction and not one per customer but I do think that using them all together spoils it for other users, it might have been better to use a different till? Only my opinion but that's what I would do in this case, might stop Boots withdrawing the whole promotion which would spoil it for everyone and might also stop them ever doing a similar promotion in the future. I think using them all together just highlights the flaws in the promotion and gets everyone annoyed.
